I would buy DS games on the eShop, but I guess it would be too confusing with the mix of 3DS games and now DS games? Isn't the DS games have to only be on retail than on the eShop?
I wouldn't because I am a physical collector. Kinda off-topic: Why do people want "NINTENDO DS" games on "WII U"? I know that the "Gamepad" have touchscreen, but handheld games are meant to be on handhelds. That's what they're made for, no? Like the "Game Boy Advance" games on "Wii U".

Might be possible to run them with an exact scaling factor. (Holding on select makes them too small - without it then it looks awful on my 3DS XL for pixel based stuff).
The resolution is only a little bit less than say the SNES horizontally.
There is a fair few DS games and GBA games that are pretty similar to SNES games in many ways.
In many SNES games the scanlines make up part of the shading people don't seem to be bothered about that problem. (A DS game doesn't have those issues).

I'd buy some GBA games (like Ninja Five-O) so yeah, I would buy some well-priced DS games.

Depends on the cost. Many DS games are very cheap now. So why download something you can pick up at retail for much less?
At least the GB and NES games have save states that put them above their cartridge releases as something worth paying more for.
not to say MANY NES games are overpriced to buy the catridges.....

Not to mention there are very few NES games that are not better on the PC Engine anyway so if you are going to spend any real money you might as well get the best version. (Or the Arcade board if it is available reasonably).

Nintendo waited too long I am no longer interested. (Bought a new DSi XL and a cheap used DS Lite). Got a whole stack of awesome games I couldn't put up with on the 3DS XL.

I use my Wii U as a handheld and only play games on the TV when the game has to use both screens.
Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.
I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!
