Is this another hit from Circle or one of there many misses?! If anyone is planning on picking this up please share your thoughts as I'm at the very least interested. This is ususally my style of game but the video in the shop didn't convince me at all but it already has 5 5star ratings and nothing below that!

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
It looks very interesting to me because I like tactical strategy games. I want to hold out for a review but I may wind up buying this on impulse when I check the eShop tonight.

Yeah, Risk is one of my favorite boards games, and this looks like it's a suped up version of that. If it's balanced and challenging, I could see myself enjoying this one. I hope it gets some positive reviews.

Fun WW2 based game. Entire world is your battlefield. So just one map but its multiple screens big with armies at each hex. Each move your nations pieces can move and/or attack. Control is very awkward though. Circle button moves the arrow. Read instructions carefully.
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ skip this game unless you LOVE and i mean LOVE risk. its just a risk clone nothing like their DSIWERE games....
you move troops and how many troops you move you throw that many dice. as far as i can see who knows what makes the dice go higher or lower .
for the 20 mins i played it i give it a 3 out of 10. Very boring game. Personally think i wasted the 6 bucks. Maybe it will grow on me but doubtful.
Again only get it if you LOVE RISK or Wait for the reviews
i very much highly doubt anyone could get the 50 hours of gameplay like the company claims on this game
beat the first mission in like an hour on normal 13 missions if each are that long 13 + conquest... could be 20 to 25 hours
Playing on first conquest and so far put around 2 hours into the game on EASY again its okay game to waste time (there is no way that i can see to make deals with other players) you can upgrade each part of your land (you need to upgrade it to 5 before you can buy troops)
played it around 3 hours now (1 hour to beat mission 1 on normal , 2 hours on conquest 1 on easy (only 20% done) i would push it from a 3 to a 5 now. Its an okay game but not much to see. I can see how they say the game could last 50 hours when the conquest maps will probally run 5 to 10 hours each or more (there are 3)
its just too bad there are not medal you could win in this game. Like beat misson 1 on easy. med. hard. Would give major replay vaule tot his game. Also too bad you cant make Pacts with other nations. like
Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution
edit just beat conquest and it DOES unlock some stuff (like the 2nd conquest on the map BUT it also allows you to play as different countries you could not play before, BUT since there are no medals or other things to Earn there is no real reason to even play as the only groups... Starting to regret paying 6 for this.
Its an okay game but a little extra could make this is into a great game (like medals you earn for beating each map)
Despite the mostly negative review, it sounded like the reviewer just isn't a fan of games like Risk. I do enjoy Risk, and I love the idea of a deeper version with a WWII theme, as I think the mechanics in Risk are pretty shallow (although necessary for something that began life as a physical board game). Can anyone give me some details on the game mechanics?
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.
The fact that the review mentions that the battles involved static figures with random numbers next to them and that he had no idea of what they meant basically means he's not a fan or has never played risk,
But still.... Even risk with friends gets boring in the end. I don't think a longer solo version is something I would want to buy.
"I got it for free", That's become a catch phrase for you. . You seem to be on top of these freebees.
Anyways... it will be interesting to see your opinion of this game.
And "if you're fast enough" usually means "if the codes are still a few hours new". Not sure why, but their twitter seems to receive very few traffic or many of their fans don't have 3DSs.
