Because tangents are cool, how or why did you first arrive at NL or its predecessors?

I, probably like many, was looking for a reliable place to seek out reviews of VC titles, way back when. You know, when Nintendo actually cared about its much-touted VC. Ha! Those were the days, eh? In any case, "vc-reviews.com" definitely found itself in an awesome little niche for me and I dug it. Still do.

There's many more sites with way more users that can communicate through PMs, unions, etc. (foreign concepts on NintendoLife..) and easily meet up and discuss Nintendo stuff.

I think Nintendo Life is great mostly because of the community here. This is probably one of the most peaceful group of video game site useres on the net and for that I am greatful. Also, since its Nintendo Life, I almost never have to hear any garbage about Sony and Microsoft

In all seriousness, Alexsays, I wouldn't mind a namedrop. I've honestly looked around before and though NL is missing some key features like the ones you listed, I couldn't find a superior site that did. BL is the closest but its all user-content.

I beg to differ. Partly because all news has some bias, but also because the news here can be very biased. Perhaps you just don't notice it because it resonates with your own bias.

This is something you should apply often in life. Almost anytime you run into anything you feel is unbiased, it simply means you're biased the same way. Look at the people watching Fox News...

This site is great mostly because of its clean interface, great and considerate mods (unlike some severely-harsh mods I've seen on other fourms), and a diverse and great community.

Agreed. Don't own anything but nintendo stuff (if you don't count my iPhone). The best nintendo reviewing site on the web.

The best mods are here. I've seen and dealt with mods who apparently think it's okay for them to disrespect the members, but if the member retaliate- you know, stand up to them, they get a short ban. It's really sad.

Most of the time, having a silly moderator like that is questionable- especially when they are juvenile.

Because I cannot find a single video game community that is as nice and mature as this one. It makes it unique from others, there are no flame war, no issue downtime/mark-up ****, no unfair modding, almost no trolling, and a site where all of us come to discuss Nintendo and have a mature discussion regarding it. It's near perfect to say the least.
