Before the 3ds, Nintey fans had limited online options. There was no way to view what your friend from Florida or Memphis is playing. We had no way to talk about a masterpiece discovered on VC, but it was so obscure, no one bothered to look at it, and you would feel bad that you had no one to share this experience with. And most importantly, Ninty fans were isolated. We are unique. Different. We look past those photorealistic graphics, those guns and blood, those boring, plain, realistic worlds. We look at the game itself. We look past the features, the modes, and the presentation. We see the game. But due to the Wii and DS's limited online, we where isolated. No one else like us. We where alone. That's why I put Nintendo life in such high regard. I mean, where else can I go where at 2 o'clock in the morning, there be a fourm posted about Goldeneye 007 online match ups, and everyone exchanging friend codes. Were else can you go where you can go at 2 o'clock in the morning, and someone post about what's on his or her desk.Nintendo life bonds Nintendo gamers, and I can't think of a better place to do that. Cheers, EliPro P.S. Anyone picking up 3ds on launch day, and who has got okami-den?

We all appreciate your kind words. It's thanks to passionate readers like yourself that we're now one of the biggest Nintendo news and reviews sites out there. Keep reading, and I promise to keep posting what's on my desk. (Today it has biscuits and a 3DS.)

I have okamiden, and so far its pretty awesome. My only complaints are a single save file and a camera that you can control only on the overworld (ie Shinshu Plains, etc.)
I am getting a 3DS and i also have Okamiden. And will be posting my opinion in a review sometime after the 3DS comes out and so far i am loving every second of the game. I am very glad we have great people still on the site that respect the site so well. Also pass me one of those Biscuits.

yes, but are they silly English 'biscuits' or are they warm, delicious, fluffy, and perhaps most importantly sausage-gravy-smothered American biscuits??? because clearly one of these things is far more appetizing than the other >:3 dammit i just made myself hungry, go me :/
BEST THREAD EVER future of NL >:3
[16:43] James: I should learn these site rules more clearly
[16:44] LztheBlehBird: James doesn't know the rules? For shame!!!
I read this with patriotic music playing in the background.
I read it with the Cheers theme song playing in the background.
THIS. Except now that song is stuck in MY head.

I have never started a thread on NL. Maybe I'm scared of dragons and chickens.

Goodness! Biscuits in the UK means the same as cookies in the US. Biscuits in the US means savoury scones in the UK. (I'm an American living in England who's now craving cookies. Thanks guys!)
Back on topic. Nintendo Life to me is important because we get reviews of all the great DSiWare and WiiWare. I'm really glad this site grew into the Form as well. It's the first place I come in the morning when I get on the 'Net.

Not to sway back towards the topic or anything, but NL is pretty important for me because I can actually get good, technical reviews for downloadable titles. I found out about this site after paying for Midnight Bowling and finding out that it licks balls. I'm a big fan of try-before-you-buy specifically for this reason, and when it's not possible to get a demo (or even download the game ), I at least like a good review NL has saved me more than a few $ on bad WiiWare/DSiWare games, and I say "thanks"

NL is important to me because of all the nice people on the forums and articles that aren't clogged in bots, and the articles and reviews are informative and unbiased.
