If there was already a topic about this, then I could not find it.
So which games do you want to see as 3D Classics? So far the confirmed games for 3D Classics are NES, SNES, and arcade games.
Here are the games I want to see as 3D Classics.
Kirby's Adventure: This is one of my favorite platformers ever. I would love to see how 3D would affect this game. The Legend of Zelda: I have been wanting to give this game another try, and it would be cool seeing this in 3D. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past: Same reasons as above. Super Mario Bros. 3: I just want to play this on my 3DS in any shape or form. Ice Climber: I would love to see this with online multiplayer and 3D. Sonic 3 & Knuckles: Just to see this game in 3D and with updated features would make me cry tears of joy. Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island: Same reasons as above.

I'm working on an animated feature film called "WhiteLand." Check out my progress: http://www.youtube.com/user/ianmage1
I cant see anything other than NES titles being classified as "classics". So here it goes:
Super Mario Bros- Duh... Legend of Zelda- Obvious. Metroid- It really should happen especially if Mario and Link get the spot light. Wario Woods- I said it. Contra- Dude its Contra. R.C. Pro am - Yeap.
Just for you. "I'm just a musical prostitute, my dear." - Freddie Mercury
How would Super Mario Bros benefit from 3D? "Oh my gosh, that bush looks farther away from the screen than Mario!" Super Mario World would be a better choice in my opinion, with multiple background layers. Also, keep in mind all of these games have to have completely redone graphics, so don't expect a fully fledged Zelda game for some time.
The only 3D Classic I'll need is Super Metroid. Do that, Nintendo, and you never have to do anything else. Even if 3D doesn't add all that much, it's still portable Super Metroid.
Lieutenant Commander of the Lesbian Love Brigade
There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

The only 3D Classic I want is E.T.! What, don't look at me like that!

nintendo will probably end up putting all the NES games as "classics" eventually. its really just a part of virtual console (with 3D). the next game i think they should give out for FREE though... probably Balloon Fight. its a short but sweet experience, similar to ExiteBike.
