I beat it the first time today. And I'm doing it without restore points until I beat it 8 times.

On world 5-3, having greatly abused the restore point feature. It's a lot of fun, but can safely say I will not be playing it 8 times through.

I also played the All Stars version on Wii back in 2010 and 2011 and that was also the stage I had the most trouble with.

Just go through the Warp Zones the second to 8th times, they don't affect you unlocking the letter worlds like they do for World 9.
