Topic: When was the last time you played AR games?

So whilst chillin and playing minecraft and listening to reviews, the YouTube playlist on cgr undertow changed and started to show a review of the play station vita the reviewer yammered on about it for a while and I really wasn't caring but then he started talking about the AR functions on it. My first thoughts were "that's copying the 3d's AR games!" but after that thought I kinda realized that I wasn't really one to judge I personally hadn't played AR games on my 3ds since the Christmas season if not later.I really hadn't even glanced at the cards. The time I spent most with the AR was when I was showing friends and family the things that my 3ds was capable of. So I played through the AR games last night beating my high scores on AR shot and I had a lot of fun with it. So when was the last time you played AR games or am I the only one neglecting that box that looks like it came from banjo kazooie?

I haven't played them since the day I got the 3DS which was my birthday last year on the 11th April. I played Face raiders a few times though.

A week or two after I got the system. I find that I have to sit in a hunched position or stand to maintain the proper view, so I really don't get much out of them.

i still play them from time to time. It's easier just to play face raiders though. No AR cards needed,.

I play the Vita ones a bit more though. Mostly because those ones work.

The 3DS AR games don't work for you?

I'd use them, but I really can't be bothered, might as well open up a game and play that than mess around with AR cards. I'd use them again if I could do something else with them on the system, but right now I can't be bothered... hopefully they'll release new cards or something eventually...

I just played them on my bed. That was good enough, surprisingly. It doesn't doesn't need to be super-flat so long as you can keep it at the right distance and angle.

I haven't played since a few days after the system launched.
The cards are sitting on the shelf next to my couch though and I've been meaning to give them another shot when I have a bit of spare time.

Not in anything but ultra awesome daylight.

The Vita AR games work far better in darker conditions. Mostly because the Vita's cameras are better at low light than the 3DS'
