if youre a device seller an plan to market an apparel that uses internet, you should consider at least for it to work with the top 10 most popular websites.
Well if it's as good as the other console browsers, then it's not entirely impossible. It just comes down to quality. Which might be the same, though small chance it would be improved.

Well, the screen is the perfect resolution for Youtube videos. And the Wii Browser is compatible. So it's possible, but they would have to do something special to allow "full screen" viewing on the top screen, and have the whole Youtube interface fit the system somehow. I'm not sure what it would take to accomplish that, but I have some doubts that Nintendo and their development partner would put in the extra effort to make it happen.
Edit: Wait, actually... the 3DS top screen isn't quite 16:9 is it?
it would be so cool. the dsi browser was totally useless. hope this one is better
I found the DSi browser got the job done with few resources, all you needed to do was set it up right and access the right "lite" websites and it was nice, fast web browser. I have a lot of faith with the new browser because the 3DS has soooo much more resources that the DSi.
YouTube in its lowest quality mode displays in 400x240 WQVGA which just so happens to be the screen size of the 3DS and also isnt so demanding to the system so mabey they may have their own app like they do on mobile phones rather than watching it through the browser.
I bet it will. Nintendo always surprises us. If the little iPods can do it, why wont a 3DS be able to? And wouldn't it be so cool to be able to upload 3D videos?

Because it's Nintendo, not Apple. The iDevices have much more powerful hardware compared to Nintendo's portable devices.
We shouldnt get ahead of ourselves. Dont build up your hopes to high as you can be dissapointed. Shamefully being a United fan you soon learn that. As we like to put it, we do it the UNITED way (the hard way).
I think its unlikely and the browser will be disastrously poor and we will never see youtube on the 3DS
Actually, most articles I read said the it's likely since they'll use the same browser as the PS3. But to be honest I don't care at all...IF I watch a video on the go, I'll watch on my iphone. The 3DS drains the battery fast enough without browsing the web and watching videos. ^^
