Why does everyone say that the water temple is the hardest dungeon in LoZ OoT? I know that in the original, it was difficult to change to the iron boots, and that made it a pain. But in the remake, that's no longer an issue. I spent no more time in this dungeon than in any other. Personally, I had more trouble under the well in Kakariko village. So why do people still think it's so hard?
Also, in the original, the switches that changed the water level weren't marked (unlike in the remake, where they're marked, showing you where they will move the water level).

I didn't know that! But still, that doesn't explain why people think it's hard in the remake...

It's not hard in the remake. Where have people said that it is? The only complaints I've heard people say about the Water Temple were about the original.
If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.
Because having to check every single areas over and over again to figure out where to go next is painful. Also, that area below the middle room...that was just evil.

Only part I didn't like was Dark Link, sometimes I'm just not able to hit him...tried not Z...er, L targeting, tried slashing at him like crazy, tried the hammer, even tried wasting all of my magic with Din's Fire. (which worked, but ran out of magic and still didn't kill him, lol)
He's just a pain to me. >.>

Keep it PG-13-ish.
^Really? It's been awhile since I've played it (3DS version), but I don't remember Dark Link being all that hard (I think I may have even been slightly dissapointed with how quickly he fell).
It's been awhile, though.

The Water Temple is no problem for me thanks to the map. The Fire and Spirit Temples are though, thanks to the bland and uninspired edits made to the game.
