Topic: 3DS themes!

Awesome, now I can stare at Luigi's face every time my 3DS boots up !

Awesome. Waiting a bit for info about possible CN codes or what I saw about possibly getting certain themes for free if you've purchased an associated game. For now...

The Hannafuda one is crazy awesome!

I believe those codes will mostly come with the New 3DS faceplates.

I also have new observations. The 'Suspended software' icon on the 3D Screen now pokes out of the screen instead of lying inside the screen(obviously this is seen when the 3D is on). I think that icon was smooth and advanced-looking, so this is a step up for me!
Is it just me, or does the system load faster in some cases? I think so. In the Main Menu, if we continue to scroll the menu, it gets faster, so...

Guess I've been beaten to it. The eShop has a slightly new layout...

Or... It could mean that I had never ever visited the page of a game I had already downloaded before this update.

Oh wow, It seems the themes are currently exclusive to America and Europe. The update didn't contain the themes or the shop in Japanese systems.

That's... Weird.

They have the new 3DS coming out soon. Im sure themes will be available when its released.

I went with the ALBW theme, it looks the best out of the ones available.

@Morpheel Maybe themes are exclusive to New 3DS in Japan or that there will be a lot made available on New 3DS launch (only 4 days).

As some others have pointed out, I'll be waiting for some of these to become Club Nintendo rewards. Nintendo, this opportunity has just fell from the sky and landed on your lap! Don't let it sit there! Take advantage of it by filling the bare rewards page!

EDIT: There is a place to redeem a download code, so Nintendo must have plans to hand out download codes somehow.

Hopefully, I could swear It had the old theme last time I visited it t check the new features.

Maybe it will be like the WiiU eShop and change the song regularly to fit the current releases or festivities.

Edit: I closed and opened it to test, its still the wiiu song.

Also, fun fact: you can't access the Theme Shop while playing Smash Bros. In case it wasn't obvious enough.

I think you're just going crazy. I booted into the eShop four times and the song has been the same song it has always been. Although, I did have a good opportunity to notice how speedy the eShop is now. A welcome change!
