Topic: Trying to find a new Nintendo 3DS or 2DS XL.

I've had my OG 3DS since launch and let's just say it's seen better days. I know you all are gonna think I'm crazy but I'd like to find a New 3DS or 2DS XL online. Either new or refurbished though at this point brand new probably isn't gonna be likely considering they've stopped making them.

Have any of you bought one from any place like Amazon or gamestop? Was it in respectable condition without the screen all scratched to hell?

I know these days probably nobody is still playing 3DS but I've been wanting to upgrade from the Tiny low battery life crappy 3D version since forever.

Any advice on how to get one for a reasonable price and in good shape?

I have had good luck importing from Japan. For the most part I find that Japanese people take far better care of their things and have obtained many game consoles in near mint condition, even some described as being in "bad" condition. eBay has many Japanese sellers that you can import from and Japanese games and consoles are often significantly cheaper. Finding a new in box 3DS is going to be extremely expensive at this point and I can't recommend it unless you have a ton of disposable income to burn.

@Truegamer79 You'll probably have better luck with a 2DS. That's was the only option I chose since when I got it, it was in great condition.

No charger included though. But I'd already had one anyways. Considering my OG 3DS hinge was starting to have issues. Still works but I gotta get it fixed before I start using it again.

Anyways, you might be lucky to find a 2DS in good shape if your budget is too constrained.
