Ya. I meant 3DS. Can anyone confirm that the new zelda game is orchestrated, or is it just a detailed midi file?
I'd like to know this as well. Sounds like it could be either.
Listening to some YouTube videos with the music it seems like there is a mix. Some of the music is recorded, while much of it is midi. At least it is a step in the right direction.

My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.

But yeah it's good to see the use of better soundtracks because more often than not I've usually been a bit meh to vg soundtracks from the Gameboy era (despite loving old school NES/SNES music and the like) and they really improved with DS games and what I've heard of even 3DS games I haven't actually played (like the latest MandL) game is really good and impressive.
No mention of Animal Crossing New Leaf? The score music is soothing, and KK's music is just incredible. And they have new little pieces of music every time you turn around, like the theme that was playing on Thanksgiving Day.

I think it's both infinitely better than Wild World's music but can never hope to be as great as the original's.
