I hate how it's getting a range of 7-9 for reviews, not the base number, but the 7s coming from whiners pissing and moaning it isn't a suck-up again to the 8bit NES era calling it too basic, and that the retro jams are gone and in place is a return to the classical music type scores with a little modernization to it. Pretty damn petty to me, but whatever.
i'm all for the new additions to tetris axis- it's old school yes, but why not add some gameplay twists to it to keep it fresh and interesting? these new modes are great- the more varied they are, the longer the interest the game has. and tetris has longevity value.

3-axis gameplay eh? There used to be in the day 'welltris' which they released I had on old DOS PC. That one did rotate on 3 axis and it was pretty fun, especially when the speed began to pick up. It's a shame it doesn't exist in this game as it would have been a trip.

I used to have Welltris as well. The closest thing in this game is Fit, except instead of going down the 4 sides of the well to the bottom, you drop the pieces down directly over the bottom. I actually think they based Fit on human Tetris rather than Welltris though.
I have absolutely no idea how the scoring in Fever works, except using the items helps and I notice on those one-colour screens where you get the same piece over and over there is a multiplier that gets really high sometimes, but I'm not even sure what causes that. Just play as fast as you can is what I've been doing.
