I prefer this game to Minecraft because of its adventure side which is better and deeper than Minecraft.
It' a kind of A-RPG with bosses and a greater feeling of progress than in Minecraft (more and better equipment).
I didn't realize this was going to be so expensive. Heist and Neo come first and this will have to review well for me to look into getting it. Might wait for a sale as I don't thing I'll have time to play this for quite some time anyways.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
Is it not $10? That's the most I'd be willing to pay. Oh well, just like Minecraft I have the better, PC version anyway. (That was only $10. )
@gurtifus: Well said, I agree. Although so far only the PC version of either are worth.
I would have never guessed Weezing was so useful until I played a HeartGold Nuzlocke! My YouTube Channel! Video game related, of course! My Pushmo Levels
I bought it yesterday.
Controls are différent than on PC. You control the character with D-pad or A-Stick and when wearing a weapon, you always hit in front of you except weapon like bow which target a little cursor you can control with the A-Stick at the same time you move. I find it perfect for this version.
To build or mine, you can activate a zoomed view in the bottom screen where you use the stylus to point squares you want to use a tool on (another cursor is used for that). But, by default, when wearing a tool, the cursor to build/mine appears in the upper screen and point to some square of interest which is handy sometime.
I would say that's a really good port of the controls !
Warning : Nintendo website (at least the french website) made a mistake in saying that we can play in multiplayer mode with download play.
That's wrong, every players MUST have a copy of the game.
That's a big mistake as I bought this game only to play it with my 2 daughters (I already have the PC version). So I figured out that I need to buy 3 copy !!!!!
Hm...I am still desperately waiting for this game to be reviewed.
But even on Metacritic there is only one review (IGN Italy) for the 3DS version uploaded at all.
Does anyone of you guys have any experiences to share? Can some of you even compare this version to the PC one so far?
Thank you! =]
Never want to come down, never want to put my feet back down on the ground.
I been playing this a lot recently, I had it on tablet before but didn't get into it has much as I am now, my only complaints would be that it can be buggy at times, like when attacking with a spear, the spear can fly away!...and the range can be extremely long for example
I also wish that you could edit the enemy count or something because there is so many!...also to tell Howard and Joe to leave mii alone, I DON'T WANTCHA!!!...can't edit those text out...thankfully I can edit out their banners cuz I don't want a banner of them in my home =w=
Also some of the controls could of been done better.
Is Terraria on consoles limited like in Minecraft? For MC I actually liked the limit to world size, but in Terraria it's easier to find your main base....so, yeah.
