@Victoria A Costco eh? I never would have thought they'd have demo machines.

I tried the biggest mall in the area last night. It's the newer one too so a lot of people hang out there. Tried the game store and it had no demo machine, tried the electronics section of a toy store and no demo machine there either. Although the girl at the counter told me she was hoping to get hers next month. So I got to chat there.
I really thought the mall was going to work. I still haven't tried the game store in town here though, so I'll probably give that a go. And I have a friend visiting later tonight who has a 3DS so I guess I'll get my first streetpass that way. I hope he's had more luck living in a bigger city and working in the gaming area of a Futureshop.

Well, it wasn't so much of a demo machine, as a machine in a plexiglass box for people to gaze upon

If anyone else on these forums is going to the Arcade Fire concert at the UIC Pavilion TONIGHT and you have a non-Metroid: Other M puzzle (or DQIX for that matter), bring your 3DS. I want a new puzzle to leisurely complete, really, I do.

The guys at Nintendo Okie are hosting a StreetPass Event in Tulsa, OK on May the 7th. Here are the details.

I live near the Xscape in Castleford and walk around with Streetpass on all day long, with it being the school hols I ve been taking the kids up the Xscape and Freeport (Junction 32 but it will always be Freeport to me. lol) to take part in the Easter activities and so far....
I only got 1 StreetPass and that was from a visitor from Newcastle!!!
I mean c'mon if Justin Timberlake comes to Xscape Castleford to Snowboard then you would think that mabey one or two 3DS owners would go there too!!!
...anyway next month the Nintendo Seeing is Believing Tour is coming to Xscape so hopefully fingers crossed I can get a few more hits!!!

...on a side note, the Streetpass hit I had also plays StreetFighter and I got a chance to see the streetpass battle in action and I won!!!!!
I was also happy to see that once a StreetFighter Streetbattle has taken place it stays on your system so you can show off your battles to your friends!!!

Still no StreetPasses, I've been able to finish one puzzle on Play Coins, and I just got the Kirby hat in Find Mii. This is gonna take awhile.

Come collect content for your Nintendo 3ds system and socialize with other 3ds owners
There will be free food and beverages for all people that rsvp for the event

Recently I've seen videos on Youtube about people meeting who own a 3ds and exchange data and play together and hold prize contests. The streetpass groups so far are located in :

I had a friend go to Sakuracon in Seattle this weekend and he came back with 30 new mii's and over 100 streetpass tags that he didn't have before.
Conventions definitely seem like a great way to go for this. I'll be heading to one in Calgary, AB, Canada during the May long weekend. It's called Otafest. I'm also hoping to attend the Calgary Comic Expo in June.
I think I'll be able to get a lot of streetpasses at these events.

In paris i get between 2 and 4 people every day when i go to work. Same people come sometimes (and of course i met my girlfriend 40 times )

Woot, stopped in at one of the Blockbuster liquidation sales in Canada today, and I finally got my 2nd streetpass after nearly 2 months, and I got a piece of the Kirby puzzle! I didn't end up buying anything at the sale, although there were some good deals, just nothing I didn't already own or want enough to buy on sale.

If you make one, I'm definitely joining.

The only hit I've gotten is still from a Gamestop in Sweden. I'm thinking of asking Dad if I can go with him to work one day. His job is basically going to Oslo and then driving around there; I'm bound to meet someone. Hopefully.

For 3DS owners in the NYC area, StreetPass NYC has announced that on June 7th, we're taking over the Nintendo World Store for an E3 extravaganza: complete with E3 bingo, AR cake and a viewing of the Nintendo E3 Press Conference on a big screen!

June 7th, event starts at 11am. I'm skipping out classes to attend. Thank goodness I have high grades.

Nice. funnily enough, the only group in Norway is in Fetsund, 20 minutes away from my house. Small town, about the size of an apartment's lawn. 0 members, so no idea what the logic was in that

I think it automatically figures out where you are and brings up the nearest town to try and get you to start one. Because it did that for me.
