Topic: Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode II

Why not port over this game to the 3DS? The game looks amazing as it is already, and it said it's coming Spring 2012.

but seriously I'll guess it will be on Wii U if/when their eShop (uShop?) starts showing that games can succeed on it.

I actually really enjoyed the previous episode but it will nice to get it with the real old school Sonic physics on XBLA.

@PrimedMetroid Just to clarify sonic on portables since game gear were so bad that Sonic on portables don't work!

Other than the first boss on sonic 2 the first 2 games where pretty good imo.

@reala They were good I will admit I might download the master system version of sonic 2 on wii or get the game gear version on the 3ds e-shop for nostalgic reasons but I am trying to ration my points for retro city rampage.

And no, Retro City Rampage is not cancelled for WiiWare. From what I can remember, it will apparently lack a few features the other versions have, but it's actually the primary version. The release date is slated as sometime in May, although considering this guys obsession with adding new stuff to appease fans, it'll probably be delayed again

Why would it not work on the 3DS? Like Shadx said, Sonic Advance 1-3, Sonic Rush (Adventure), and Sonic Colors was good. However, you forgot about Sonic the Hedgehog: Pocket Adventure for Neo Geo Pocket Color. I heard that game was beast.

Played like a mix of sonic 1 & 2 with music remixed from 3 & knuckles, very good game really hoping that comes to 3DS VC.

While they're at it, if the GBA games will be released to the public, I want the Sonic Advance games to come to the 3DS VC. God knows how much games Nintendo can pack into the VC, with their huge backlog of games on those systems. By the way, I just wanna play Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow on my 3DS... (drools)

Off topic. Bottom line, Sonic 4 should come to the 3DS. And while they're at it, they should port over Episode I.

one thing about episode 2 is its much bigger than episode 1, episode 1 took up 500 MB on steam while episode 2 will take up 6 GB, but if they could cram episode 1 onto wiiware I guess with 3DSwares limit being much less restrictive they might be able to get it on there not sure though.

It looks like I will really enjoy it. Personally, i have nothing against most of the Sonic characters. Love to see Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles in a game. At least we got Tails added on this time.
Episode 1 was good...but not great. I hope they didn't try to run just off of the success of past games like they did with Episode 1. Some of the same levels (pretty much anyway) and same bosses I have already seen in the past. Also, I hope it doesn't run as slow as episode 1
