Topic: Sonic Generations Delayed

I have just heard news that Sonic Generations for the 3DS is delayed until next year. Not the console versions, though. I personally don't care all that much, because it gives me time to save money (and my Christmas list is full) so yeah. I bet many are disappointed, though. What are your thoughts?

It would be awesome if this means that they are doing this to make the 3DS version the same as the console versions with the graphics being the only difference because of the difference in power rather than the watered down version that the 3DS version currently is but unfortunately thats highly unlikely.

No way I was getting it over 3D Land and Kart 7 anyway this year so whatever.

After reading the impressions from recent events and E3, they had better delay it.

Hopefully this delay allows them to greatly improve the game.
It's better off that they don't rush it and rather try to get it right.
Doubt I'll be buying it in the end though.

I'm just hoping this delay is to work on the game a bit more (fine tuning) and not "Oh, let's just hold it back even though we finished it." because some developers do that.

I would never buy this over the beautiful console versions so, what ever.

Well that's good for me I guess. Means more work will be put into it, and I won't still be bankrupt from the console version. Might be broke from the other games though.

This will be the first time I buy the "portable version" of a console release. Mostly because it promises classic platforming ( to hell with you physics nitpickers ) and won't even have he same settings as the handheld one, Also, need more 3DS games.

I'm not as gutted as I should be; I have enough games to play right now, and have the console version to look forward to in November, so it will give me a proper chance with that!

Get Both. Other than Green Zone Hill being in both games nothing is the same. All different levels/.

I actually think a lot of the levels selected for the 3DS versions are better choices than the console versions; I'm just hoping that the 3DS version will end up being decent. I'm still going to get both.
