Eh, that whole gold/silver thing isn't an issue for me. For one, I NEVER get gold anyways so uh, there's that. And for two, I don't really much pay attention to my score. It's exciting to see what I got, and the medal placement is nice, but I'm just playing for the fun of it. The fun of actually going through the stages is what it's all about for me. The medals and scores and stuff? It's whatever. Felt the same way with W101. Yeah I tried my best, but at the end of the day it was all about the experience, not the medal at the end of it.

And for the record, this game is AMAZING. Like, seriously, this is exactly what a game should be. It's fun, it's addictive, easy to learn but hard to master. Sure, there's a few things I'd like to see corrected, mainly a way to move the paddle faster without the stylus, maybe by holding a button while moving to double speed or something, Idk. But all in all, that's small potatoes. The game is an absolute blast to play. In fact, I'ma go play it right now.

I think you're doing yourself a disservice if you don't pay attention to your scores at all. There's really no skill involved with just getting to the end of the stage — the gameplay doesn't become rewarding until you can pull off a series of well-placed shots to clear all of the blocks in an optimal way, leading to a high score and a better medal. On a side note, I really wish the game had online leaderboards.

Bought this today. The first few levels were fun, but I was playing on my broken XL, which I don't want to get more broken before I transfer over all my games!

I ran into a glitch (I think?) on the World 7 boss. I activated and collected the powerup on the right hand side, and before my 10 seconds were up I collected the powerup on the left hand side as well. Rather than reset my powerup time, the timer disappeared and I was free to use the powerup for as long as I could. I thought this might have been intentional at first, but near the end of the boss fight I collected the powerup on the right again, and this time it reset the timer to 10 seconds.

PS @MojoBones - Are you aware that you can cheese your way to a gold medal on each regular stage by simply juggling the ball ad infinitum once you reach the end of the stage? You just have to stay at the edge of the stage and make sure you don't hit the ball on the far side of the paddle, which is pretty easy to avoid doing. Sure it may take awhile since you only get 200 points for each bounce, but it's worth it due to how ridiculous some of the gold medal requirements are.

I just realized that myself last night when I saw that I was so close to a gold at the end and it hit me--keep bouncing it! It only took about 15-20 more bounces. But it definitely didn't feel earned (I got zero points on the random bonus), so I didn't do the save trick and it reverted back to my previous bronze.

I still haven't gotten gold on it yet....ugh.

Perhaps an update where you don't get any points for bounces once you pass that Congratulations sign.

Regarding the random bonus, I'm pretty sure it's not random at all — it depends on how well you time it along with the beat of the background music. I almost always get 2500 or 5000 as my bonus when I time it perfectly on the beat.

@6ch6ris6 - it's still in submission at the moment. However, we submitted it the same day the issue was confirmed, so it's on the way and hopefully won't be much longer. We'll let you guys know as soon as we have a firm date (and it passes). Really sorry for the wait guys.

Yeah, sometimes I thought I did the save trick correctly, but I didn't. I've lost 5-6 gold medals because of it.

The game's great, and I have at least silver on most levels, but I'm going to take a break until the update comes. Just too frustrating to lose a gold medal on a level after trying like 10 times.
