Anyone played Devils Survivor 2? How's the story compare to 1?
Still has multiple endings but instead of angels there are sepitertones. The story is funnier, but other than that they are about the same. I would wait for Break record before buying though.

I found the characters in Devil Survivor 2 to be substantially better than the first game. In terms of story, there were a bit more lighthearted moments, while there were also more moments of the macabre nature as well.
And don't get me started on the gameplay, which is leaps and bounds better than the first game.
I played Overclocked and then DS 2, and even with all of Overclock's additional features I found Devil Survivor 2 to be a way better game.
I would recommend it wholeheartedly, but with Break Record around the corner, I'd wait.

No, although its remake, Break Record, is. Seriously, even though it's a better game than the first in nearly every regard, wait. Break Record will be better by principle, since it's the same game with slightly better graphics, fully-voiced, some new demons (I think) and new endings (I'm 99% sure).
The first has more than enough content to keep you occupied.

SMT: DS2 different gameplay than DS1? Whoah, Atlus sure is spoiling Nintendo right now. Here's hoping Persona will be coming to WiiU. I've still gotta beat my 2nd ending on SMT IV. I am taking my sweet time getting all the available demons, strong or weak.
Never before in a game have i felt this conflicted in making a decision!!? Whom do i go with?! Im not kidding either as i can see both sides of the conflict! Im leaning towords Walter but its like 51-49!

There's a character who appears in the Hunter's Associations. (If you're not far enough along, you won't see him.) When you talk to him he'll ask if you want to know how people perceive you, or some such thing. If you say yes he'll give you a pretty good idea of whether you're law, chaos or neutrality.
You get to a certain point...and you know. That being said...I don't know how on earth I got the neutral path. I was EXPECTING the chaos path.
I need to do more grinding and demon catching/fusing.

@Philip_J_Reed Thanks Phil! I've talked to him before but its been a while and a lot has happened since I talked last. I went with Walter and feel like I should've went with Johnathan. Oh well unleash the hoard I guess!
