I'm at the end of the game, I believe at the final boss for my chosen ending... So, spoiler alert (kind of? I'm not sure if this is a spoiler), but does anybody know how to get the neutral ending which I assume has to do with Isabeau? I tried to get it on my own but in the end I could only choose between Walter and Jonathan (I reluctantly chose Jonathan because the good of the people crap applied to the small socialist part of me). I'd like to redo the game and get the neutral ending WITHOUT looking online which would potentially spoil everything for me... Any help?
Also, notice the strategy guide isn't very complete. It brings you about halfway through the game - and just moves on to other stuff. A bit dissapointing, but hey, it's not like I paid for it separately.
Unfortunately due to the M rating I can't play it for 3 years >.<
At least I have the eShop credit though.
As far as M ratings go, SMT4 really isn't all that bad. Honestly, there's some swearing and mature/sexual themes, a bit of blood (nothing too gory, though) and some scantily clad demons (some are topless but the breasts are generally obstructed or purely skin, so it's not so bad, and there is never any genitalia showing), but all in all, really one of the more tame M games that I've played.
It sure doesn't take long to die in this game...does it.
Its like it was planned that way. Don't worry you will die often. The early demons can still kill me if I screw up and I'm at level 26.
I seem to be screwing up the recruitments. The demons don't seem to like my answers.
A good tip when recruiting is kill the demons that you don't want before trying to recruit the demon that you do want. Also, try to tailor your answers according to their personality. Don't do the obvious thing. Although I suspect it doesn't really matter, since I suspect each answer has a random possibility of being right and wrong that changes each time.

Just do not destroy the reactor and choose the option that goes against your nature and you will be on the true Neutral path. I did not like the other Neutral ending. And Walter was way more pro-Casualrie than Jonathon was. Jonathon does not even see the class division.

...And you are how far? I do not believe you have seen Master Therion have you?
...Oh, wow, never really noticed that, took a look at my Compendium and realized all of the sudden... I also remembered that Incubus has genitals showing...
Also, thanks for the help with the neutral ending. I have a save literally right before you enter the reactor for the last time. Since I usually sided with Jonathan, does that mean that if I pick Walter from my save file I get the neutral ending? Awesome.

People seem to misunderstand what an M rating means, M rating means children CAN play if their parents approve, it also means it is legal to sell the game to children if an adult is present and give its approval.... the rating that means children are not allowed to play the game is R+18, which is basically reserved for stuff that's basically interactive porn and you are unlikely to see any game with that rating in a mainstream console, as far as I know only obscure pc games have gotten it
