Sorry to Europe. I hear it's great.
Not bragging but I rushed to place an order from GameStop, in the event the EU cancellation is a sign of a future rare US game, meaning that unlike I did with RF3, I won't be able to pick it up on the cheap later. (if it is licensing issues for EU, could that mean Xseed might not be able to do future prints?)
always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)

The publisher for NA and EU was the same, just one was the North American branch and the other was the European one. Unless it was legal issues (which I doubt), they just have no faith in us, which is sad.
It's not the first release that we in Europe has missed out on, but im new to the RuneFactory series (have played the good old harvest moon on PSX alot though ^^) soo I cant speak much for the game but I sure as hell would have bought this one cuse it looked fun and good.
That's a shame. I got it on a whim with the last of my christmas money and I have to say it's a great game. The combination of the action combat in dungeons, the dating sim, and the farming/town management is really cool. I hope you guys get it one day.

Actually, XSEED is a purely American publisher but they're affiliated with Marvelous, who's affiliated with Rising Star who take most of XSEED's games for the PAL regions. There have been a huge amount of mergers and realignments with Marvelous lately so it's not clear too clear who owns what though.
As for me, I'm off to go play Harvest Moon and Bravely Default at the same time. It's not quite the same

Marvelous AQL bought out Xseed in 2011. I don't know how true that Rising Star bit is but Marvelous AQL owns their own European branch. Called Marvelous AQL EU or something.
