I'd rather have GBA and Neo Geo Pocket Color added.

The Unified E-Shop Treaty of 2013 would be glorious thing, indeed. It would make me that much more likely to go out and buy a Wii U. Well played if this is really what Nintendo is doing with their update, and let's hope it includes MiiVerse 3DS.
I just bought my 3DS around the time that Luigi's Mansion 2 came out and so I've been enjoying the recent boom of games. Looks like Nintendo is poised for a rebound if they can release a steady flow of great 1st party games for both systems. I'm really looking forward to both Mario and Luigi Dream Team and Pokemon 3DS.
It always seemed silly to be that we couldn't have at least a few of the big releases. We might have to wait until the next handheld, which I guess I'm fine with, but still...
And I know its not a matter of space. With the larger SD cards its really hard to run out of space unless you buy a ton of large retail downloads. I still have like 18,000 blocks left, and I might upgrade again. Sigh, I wish I had my 3DS before the Ambassador program ended, but I waited for my Monster Hunter 3G special edition white 3DS.
I've heard about the various emulation issues that exist regard the 3DS hardware and the coding of the GBA games, compatibility, but there has to be some way around it right?

Those are probably just rumors. If you have any sources for that I'd be interested in seeing them, and how serious it claims these compatibility problems are - because the GBA Ambassador games work Ok for the most part.

I'm not totally sure about it myself. I looked earlier today at a blog that had a lot of technical information about the DS and 3DS hardware, but still I would rather hear from Nintendo about these sort of issues so we'd know for sure. I do wish they'd be more vocal about their reasoning for certain things. I love my 3DS and nearly all Nintendo output, but I just wish they'd, you know, spoil us a bit more with information and goodies and all that.
Anyway, we can all still be hopeful right? SNES, GBA, bring them all.

I completely agree. I don't think that Nintendo should make it as far as DS and Gamecube. However, I expect to see N64 ANYTIME BEFORE 2016. I'm giving Nintendo a long time, because I'm sure that they have a lot of plans within the next two years in a half. However, by the time 2015 ends, I would seem to think that Nintendo just wouldn't focus enough time on the N64 Library for the 3DS Virtual Console. These dates would be perfect for me:
SNES ~ December 2013 - May 2014
GBA ~ 2014 (anytime)
N64 ~ Autumn 2014 - December 2015
As long as Nintendo releases those platforms between those time dates, I would be happy. If they release them earlier, then I'd have to dig for more money, but I'd still appreciate it.

I rather have GBA games...SNES on 3DS VC would be another excuse for Nintendo to re-re-re-re-re-re-re-release VC games. I want new VC games, not pay for the same game that I already own on the Wii.
