What's more exciting is that it's a physical release. ^-^
Any software that will be released at retail needs to undergo the traditional peer-reviewed classification process, while eShop-only releases can go through the automated (and free) IARC classification scheme, in which developers/publishers fill in a survey and it generates automated classification categories (and consumer advice) for many classification bodies (including ESRB/PEGI etc.).
Hopefully they don't screw it up as badly as they did with MV. I'm not entirely sure if they really even fixed that one, at this point. I keep getting mixed messeges...
I've never played around with an RPG Maker title, per se, but a few games made with them. I really liked OFF! and Barkley: Shut Up and Jam Gaiden, and found the surreal happenings in Yume Nikki pretty interesting. Corpse Party's 3DS remake still can't eschew its RPG Maker past, not that it's a bad thing.
What I truly hope for though is the same ability to freely download titles made in RPG Maker Fes as the Japanese version can. If that ends up being the case, I could see a lot of free gaming in my future.
