Topic: Resident Evil Mercenaries 3D

and lets share out views on the upcoming game Resident Evil Mercenaries.

okay so far as we know there are some characters that made the cut for a fact which include, Chris & Claire Redfield, (bro and sis) Hunk, Jack Krauser, Jill Valentine and Wesker! these are a great start up list of characters. you can get a good look at the game here (http://3ds.nintendolife.com/news/2011/03/jill_and_wesker_show_their_moves_in_new_resi_mercenaries_video)

Game modes
as far as we know there is NO story mode. only mercenaries. rumor has it, that you are able to customize each characters layouts. and 30 levels me personally will find it great to have Jack Krauser with a crossbow and a shotgun.

(personal thoughts for a game mode)
lets kill the time, and be able to set a wave limit. so already with classic mercenaries mode, why not have players go solo or do online co op fighting an onslaught of zombies. id love to have a wave mode since there is no story. its a mere tweek in the options. (hint hint capcom dlc) from 1 to 20 waves players can fight to survive instead of being rushed for the whole entire time you play.

and also big news! resident evil will have a demo of resident evil revelations!!!

The last character is Barry. They were all in a silhouette artwork released a LONG time ago.

I wouldn't be surprised if Capcom had other characters planned for DLC.

barry's cool but i'll be bummed out if they pan leon. but like you said, they're probably holding some DLC back to milk more money out of us.

i played this at launch party it pretty cool i went krauser and played res evil 4 level in village!! controls need sum getting used to but graphics were bloody amazing!!!

while we're at it what levels are confirmed? we've seen the village and castle from re4, and i think the village, missile plant, prison and mines from re5.

I'm only getting this game,if Berry is in it.

That would be a twist. She is part of a police force. I'd be happy to see them thighs rock and knock zombie/possessed people out ^_

When playing, Ill bet that the majority of players will be HUNK, Wesker, or Leon (If announced). Hell I know that Ill be HUNK most of the time.

This. HUNK is a lady's man, a man's man, and a man about town. He was my #1 in Mercs on RE4, but now that he doesn't have the neckbreaker, I don't know. That's a big part of the reason I used him. It was just so stylish, even if it didn't wipe everybody out like Krauser's claw. Still, his punt was hilarious and reminded me of Kick the Baby on South Park

The more I see this game, the more I think I'd enjoy playing it. But only 2 players for co-op online? Lame

As opposed to the one-player multi of the other ones?

I'll take 2 player. And I hope there are some kind of cool tag moves, but I doubt it

I just read at 3DSblog Capcom is willing to make a sequel to this if it sells well enough. Not sure if I want to see another one unless it adds a lot of new stuff. I'm definitely buying this game though. Looks great and kicking zombie butt on the go as Hunk is just awesome.

It's great as an unlockable on a main game, but there is no way that Resident Evil Mercenaries deserves to be a stand alone game. From the Chronicles games on Wii to this, Nintendo gamers are blatantly getting screwed by Capcom. For anyone who has a platform that can play it (anything but Nintendo), just go and buy Resi 5 gold edition. It's cheap and has tonnes of content.
