So, does anyone know exactly what you have to do to get the event Torchic? I don't wanna start the game tomorrow and be lost... saying "okay, where's my Torchic?" I'm still a little confused as to how it will actually work... as far as I can tell, you just get it if you connect to the internet...?
Has anyone noticed that x and y have fewer new pokemon then the second generation? I remember gold and silver only had 100 new pokemon back in 2000 but x and y only have 79 new pokemon if I'm doing my math correctly. BTW my Fennekin is lv. 14! It pays to work at Gamestop!
@Gioku - Simple, you get it via Mystery Gift but you automatically go to the "Are you a Boy or a Girl?" phase if it's your first time playing. Sort it out after you save the game.

Yeah. Its 79 pokemon and around ninety or so if we count Mega Pokemon.On the Plus side the game has over 400+ that can be caught in game. I;d say this is a even better game than Black/White for new player or lapsed newcomer.
