@DarthNocturnal Thanks, I eventually found it, and managed to watch it for for about 15 minutes before being booted out for not being a 'Premium Member'. Really not a fan of that aspect on NicoNico, but hey.
EDIT: Somehow managed to get back on. Rotom Pokedex being discussed.
EDIT2: Just finished. As was stated, nothing new was announced. There were brief bits of 'back and forth' between the comments and the presenters, but after getting kicking out for not being a premium member, I was able to return without access to the comments, so missed out on that for the most part. I think the most interesting revelation was that Yungoos's resemblance to Donald Trump wasn't lost on the Japanese audience.
Anyway, yeah. Basically an E3 Pokemon recap, in Japanese. But it marks the last Nintendo thing from the halls of E3, so it's somewhat symbolic.
@ThomasBW84 Yeah, sorry to get you involved. I realised this was the Nico stream that you were referring to yesterday after tracking it down, but prior to that, its place in NL's 'E3 2016 Schedule' banner had me hoping it might be something more substantial. I managed to watch most of it, and I can reliably inform you that the information Mr. Merrick reliably informed you of was, in fact, reliable.
I've hope you've recovered from your sleep depravation.
Anyway, awesome to see a few new Pokemon designs. Grubbin while a slightly generic early Bug Pokemon is kinda cute imo. Apparently the website says it enjoys electricity and hangs around power plants, so it will most definitely become Electric type.
Bug / Electric is a little weird for a beetle though, it'll probably learn Dig as well then.
Idk why but it reminds me of those anode beetles from pikmin 2, they generated electricity.
It also reminds of the triclops from metroid prime, which dwelled in machinery and had a similar appearence.

Okay, I've seen enough of this game to say I'm probably not going to buy it. This series is simply too far gone from it's roots to be fixed.
No matter how much it damages the game experience, Game Freak is going to continue making this game more and more child-friendly, despite the fact that it was perfectly so from day 1. They are going to keep driving these games with terrible stories. They are going to keep pushing bland "friends" instead of rivals. And they are going to keep making the main campaign easier and easier, with the assumption that older players will just "enjoy the competitive aspects".
Game Freak has forgotten a part of what made their earlier titles so great- the world. When I play G/S/C, I feel like an individual thrown into an incredible Pokemon world, I feel like I'm solving puzzles on my own. That's why I could enjoy them without ever trading or connecting a link cable. Now, you feel like you are playing as someone else in the Pokemon world, as every little thing is beaten over your head. Puzzles aren't fun to solve as most just have the illusion of obstacle (if they exist at all **cough** Gen 5 **cough**).
I've been waiting all my life for a Fire-type Tiger Pokemon (my favorite type and animal), but I guess I won't get to experience it.
Sorry for the rant, I just saw GameXplain delving deep into the "story details", and I couldn't take it anymore.
