@Rikaria Are you going to do a full list of the rewards in this week's Escalation repeat? I've been playing it for the rewards but I'd like to know before hand how long it will go this time.
Thank you for doing them though! It has been really helpful!

Sitting at level 180 just before tackling level 200. Low on coins (25k) and hearts (4), but many jewels (8, soon to become 9). Doing a trial run with just DD and a mixed team (see below).
Zoroark seems a must, but I think that a ghost team with M-Banette (I'm really happy that I gave it 6 candies way back when I used to grind coins on the Sunday Meowth), Gengar and Giratina or a mixed team with M-Gengar, Giratina and Absol (for the Mind Zap) is the way to go.
Hydreigon is definitely out of my league now (still need 19 S-ranks to unlock, with a cost of like 100k coins).
I hope that GS gives us 7-10 Pokemons that could be skilled up, say, one per "world" so you have more options that the current ones.
@Rikaria I'm at level 223 and it's getting hard to complete each level: usually end up with 0-2 moves left, using M-Banette, Gengar, Dusknor (just below level 9) and Giratina. It's my most effective team so far: I use M-Absol with a maxed team and it was a disaster.
Bisharp is only useful for levels 51-99, IMHO. After that, no more breakable blocks, unless you consider it for level 250.
By the way, tell Kaleo that its run on level 300 is impressive (can't access Miiverse): 11 moves left!!
Decided to max Magmortar, for the M-Abomasnow competition. Already maxed Zoroark, Dusknoir, Bisharp, Blaziken, Scizor and Chandelure (just in case) for this week's events. Also, both Trevenant and Jellicent are being leveled up (maybe to level 6?).
Very, very low on coins (7.5k), but tomorrow I should climb to 35-40k, at least.
Already fully lollipoped Rayquazza so those 2 Mega Speedups from the competition (hopefully)will help me fully candy Banette for the rest of the EB.
A shame that Mega Speedups are becoming rare. I think that I've missed 2 and I'm struggling. If Nintendo or GS let you spend jewels for them, you'll definitely see a raise in people investing in the game (like 3-5 jewels per Mega Speedup; I'm gonna spend like 25k-50k coins to beat level 300 of the EB for just two MS). The only thing to watch for is the gap between those who'll spend too much and those that wouldn't.
@maceng yeah i would spend real money on speedups and probably skill boosters even. i wonder why they dont have a shop with every prize, maxlevel ups, exp boosters, etc...its another way to make money
I'm finally back to over 40k coins, which should say something about the quantity of money-grabber stages lately. And I still haven't really touched the latest Main stage update! I had to stop the Giratina EB on level 100 because I used every item on it and still failed, and at that point I didn't have enough for another go.
At that point I decided to focus on the mission cards. I completed card 4 which was pretty easy but I'm still missing the last two missions on card 5. Beating Heatran with 80 seconds remaining is almost impossible for me. I managed to beat it with 78 (!) seconds remaining using all the essential items before I had to face the reality of being broke again. I haven't tried the Dragonite mission yet which I don't think should be too hard though.
I haven't been leveling up the skills of my pokemon lately mostly because I want to get back to at least 70k coins to feel comfortable again. I haven't played the Mega Abomasnow Competition since Tuesday but right now I'm on place 2044/25052 so I'm in it to win one Raise Max Level and one Mega Speedup. I don't really think I have what it takes to get in the best 500 players anyway. My score is 41 823 with the team of M-Blaz, Charizard, Reshiram, Delphox (all maxed out).
My current team for Meowth grinding is Magmortar (5), Electivire (6), Nidoking (9), and Swampert (8). I know leveling up pokemon is slow using the Meowth stage but since I don't have time to both level up and grind coins, it's better than nothing.

I did horribly on the Abomasnow competition: just 48k using all items, compared to 38k with no items. I think I placed (in the USA board) in the top 2,000, which was not what I was shooting for.
Back to 30k coins after a very successful Meowth run (23k in 4 chances).
These Giratina levels are way too RNG dependent: I played level 224 and aced with 8 moves left, then couldn't finished level 225 with the same team. I'm back to grinding coins in the Meowth stage using Tyrantrum (2), Arcnine (2), Rampardos (1) amd Golduck (6).
I hope we get a new Safari to try and reach the 120 combo goal for card 6.
No luck whatsoever. Played on my backup 3DS and managed 81k, without really trying using your same time with the same specs. Played on my everyday 3DS with teh sam etam and specs and managed even less than before: just 45k.
I might try a couple of runs tonight as I almost finished Giratina's EB (stage 249).
I got to about 64k in the Abomasnow contest which granted me a spot somewhere in between the top 1000 and 2000 players in the EU learderboard (3DS). At least I finished in the second tire, gaining both a raise max level and a mega speedup.
Is Kingdra a repeat? I thought we haven't seen it before but the fact that it's unlocked by coins has me wondering if it had its original run last Summer when I was unable to connect to the Internet with my 3DS for a few weeks. Anyway, I decided to go with MS, DD, and APUp, finished it with 8 moves remaining which landed the catch rate at 54 %. Thankfully I didn't have to buy a great ball.
But bleh, now I'm back to 30k coins and some Meowth grinding.

@Nego Nope. That threw me as well, but it's a brand new event, a la the Magmortar and Electivire events. It's also supremely annoying itemless, so I'd recommend a DD at the minimum, unless you want to rely on Mind Zap (Recommended, as, at least for me, it had pretty decent activation) and Sleep Charm (Which, despite doing 4 consecutive runs, didn't activate once, on any of the matches of three, four, or the two fives I managed to get.)
I only play it casually, so after Maxing out Mega Garchomp and Mewtwo Y, I'm now trying to amass 20 Speedups to get Mega Rayquaza Fully Candied. At the moment, I now have five, thanks to an amazing run with AP+ on Abomasnow, which pushed me into the second tier, to get a candy, and I'll prolly get Giratina to level 50 for a sixth. Fourteen more to go...
I swear, it's like they heavily nerfed sleep charm a week or two after it was introduced. I remember I got it to activate all the time when it first came out.
Well, landed second tier on both 3DS (like 1000 in one and 800 in the other). Now I have 9 Raise Max Levels, from which 2 are going to Blastoise (3/5) and 2 to Kyogre (2/5). So, I'll always keep 5 handy, just in case a new Pokemon is granted with the raise max level mechanic (still, Venasaur and Lapras are somewhat worthy, IMHO).
After beating Giratina 300 (and receiving an anger Giratina afterwards), been grinding Meowth and S-ranking some stages. I haven't caught all Experts Pokes (missing 5 or 6), but I'm just 9 S-ranks away from Hydregion(?), but these S-ranks require all a C-1 or even full item run (Aromatisse, Steelix, M-Rayquazza, Conkeldur, Tyranitar, Deoxys, Exploud -maybe-, M-Heracross and Excadrill). So I need like 100k-140k.
I hope that new stages come up so I might catch Hydregion just by S-ranking easier, new stages.
@Maceng 4 of those are probably doable with nearly full item runs, without the complexity. (Aromatisse - certainly, I remember not needing a Complexity here. Tyranitar - I think I did this without the complexity, Exploud - Although this does take a little luck without Complexity, so it's up to you, and Excadrill - I know I Glalied this one into oblivion.) The others, yeah, Complexities all round...
I'm still short of S ranks, due to taking a break, so I need to get back to doing the new Violeta Palace stages. XD
