A heads up for those below level 100: You need to make at least 4 combos to stop Keldeo Resolute for making any disruptions. The disruptions start with some wood blocks (twice) and then he switches to making steel blocks appear. Dialgia is a good choice along with Mewtwo, Cresselia and Victini. Managed to beat up to level 120 with as many as 8 moves left.
I'm also running very low on coins, but I'm still on schedule to beat level 200 by Tuesday, at the most. Might need to spend part of tomorrow on grinding Mewtwo.
I just beat level 96 and haven't had to use any items yet (except on 50). I'm using an all MAX team of Mega Mewtwo Y, I think Cresselia (the yellow moon-looking guy), and a couple of others that I don't know their names that both have Hitting Streak for their special. I basically just evolve Mewtwo as soon as possible except to use Cresselia when he uses the ice disruption, and I haven't had any problems (I am beating the levels in the 90s with one or two moves left, haven't lost one yet). That said, I still doubt I will go past level 100. Are there any prizes besides the Speedups every 50 levels?
@EveryoneElse I guess my set ups have been lucky, because 91-99 were not that hard for me itemless.
I used Mega Mewtwo Y, Victini, Cresselia, Salamence. I have used five candies on Mewtwo. I just get him megaed as soon as possible and the levels are very manageable.
On level 100 I used Disruption Delay and +5 moves. Barely beat it with 2 moves left. Now I'm on 120 with the same set up and I did have to replay a level once. I'll probably go for 200 if the HP ramps slowly.
I don't know, are you guys setting up combos properly?
@Klimbatize: Levels 91-99 can be done itemless. But you have to be a bit lucky... I did levels 91 and 92 with no items, but somehow I failed twice at level 93. Onward I used Move +5 (as I had a large stash of coins) and usually finished with 5-8 moves left, so it is doable without items. I think that I even did level 98 with no power-ups and manage to finish it with 1 move left or something.
I did level 100 with DD only and managed 2 moves left also. So, yes, I think I'm setting up my combos just fine.
Now, I did need a lot of items for level 150: Complexity -1, Mega Attack, DD and Mega Startup, plus move+5, and finished with 0 moves left. I think that it can be done with Complexity - 1, Mega Attack, DD and Move+5 (so no Mega Startup), but I wouldn't chance it.
Now at level 157. Leveling up Cresselia and Keldeo, as well as Mega Slowbro, just in case.
Well that sounds reasonable, but people are talking about how these early stages are hard, and they aren't if you have a high level team...which I assume most of us do by now.
I can't speak to 150, but yeah, if previous escalation battles are any indication I'll likely use every powerup aside from -1 Complexity. But I may throw that in too if need be. I'm currently on 125 and still beating levels comfortably without items.
A person without a sense of humor is like a wagon without springs. It's jolted by every pebble on the road.
Bummer... just blew a lot of coins on lvl. 150 but hardly made a dent, despite the 1.5 Damage power-up. What is the best team / sttrategy to beat this level?

I jinxed myself because after I posted above, I lost 4 straight times at level 97. Finally, used a Moves +5 to beat it, then beat 98 and 99 first try without any items. Beat 100, and now I'm done with it and moving on to catching and S-ranking the new stages.
@Mk_II: Well, I used quite a lot of coins. I used Mega Mewtwo (max), Cresselia (9), Victini (max) and Salemence (max). Cresselia is very importance to destroy the ice cubes. See my post above regarding the powerups I used.
After level 150 is smooth sailing again. (Currently at level 175).
Has anyone reached level 191 of the Keldeo Resolute escalation? I'm stationed at level 190, grinding Meowth and doing some Safari stages, so if anyone has tackle these levels, what's your advice on items needed?
Is anyone else here having trouble with Gavantula? All of the mega pokemon super effective against it suck. (or at least as far as I can tell) Are there certain pokemon I should use? does bringing Joltik to the stage not add another disruption? Any general tips?
@Rikaria: No wonder. I usually manage to play 25 hearts a day, thanks to that I'm my own boss. On Sundays I usually play anything between 30-35 hearts, plus, I have a very large collection of 3DS that serve as "Streetpass slaves". So I manage to get between 25-35 hits a day.
Hope that everything goes well with your job application!!
This is the most annoying safari yet. I caught 4 of the 5 that I have seen first try, but I have not seen either of the two rarer Pokemon yet, and I have to have played it 100 times by now because I have earned several thousand coins just from the 30 I get each play. I know they only have like 2% and 3% chance to appear, but that still means I should have seen them both multiple times by now.
I was lucky enough to find and catch all the Safari Pokémon in such a short time (used 20 hearts or so). I haven't been playing much but I'm still up to date with event Pokémon. Bit behind on main stages. I haven't started with the newest stages yet since I haven't cleared Roserade.

I have 92k in coins, and 16 gems saved up. I should be able to make it and still have a week to complete the Safari (I have 4 of the Safari so far, but none of the rares).
@Sparx: Well, that and the fact that these stages add weak Pokemon in the stages. Bulbusaurs, Meowth, Zubats, etc. Kind of annoying but I managed to get all the Safari Pokemon so I don't have to deal with wasted hearts trying to find the ones I didn't catch anymore. I also caught every one of them except for Camperupt without a Great Ball so that was nice.
