Topic: Pokemon Shuffle

Starting to lose my grip. Forgot to catch Heatmor on Thursday. At least I have a second chance next week.

@Mk_II: I feel sorry for you. I made the same mistake once but it wasn't an event Pokémon and I didn't need Complexity -1 so I spent way less money.

I've basically stop playing this this week. I've only loaded it up maybe once in the last 4 days. I liked it for the time I spent on it but it was just getting in the way of all my other games. I'm not saying I'm totally done but for now It looks like I'm Shuffle free!

just a quick thing i forgot to mention when i found out about this, but if you do the daily pokemon challenges with the previous day's mon in your team you have a chance of starting off by clearing a bunch of spots then getting a free 700 coins (did it on heatmor with durant on my team)

The daily Pokemon are back, tornadus appeared for a day and the manetric safari is available again.

I really hope this repeat of the Manectric Safari means that the competition will be repeated as well as it's the only stone that I'm missing (if I'm not mistaken) as I didn't have an internet connection at the time.

I would've never imagined delibird as an escalation battle.

I guess it makes sense as a Christmas event.

Odd that there isn't a Turkey Pokémon... though if Black & White has set any kind of precedent, then a cornucopia Pokémon is far more likely to happen.

anybody know if there are more items past 100 for delibird?

I'm not even doing the escalation battle. I stopped at level 10 because after that it's not worth giving up the hearts to get the powerups. It's better to just use those hearts and grind Meowth. The amount of coins I'll get on Meowth will be more than what the powerups cost.

Yeah, but you could just buy the powerups you need to S rank the levels, and it would be more cost effective than wasting hearts in that escalation battle and instead using them on Meowth.

I get what you mean about being maxed out though. That's when I do Ampharos' stage and buy the 1.5x XP powerup.

Just as a question (not going to start a new thread), how much have you guys spent on the game so far, if anything?

It's the third most played game on my 3DS. I've currently invested 137 hours into it according to my Activity Log. It'll soon pass Pokémon Y but I doubt it'll ever get more play time than Super Smash Bros.

Yeah, pretty sure he means money. I've spent $0. Jewels are overpriced.

Okay, yes, I meant money, but it's not bad to know the time people spent on the game as well. 300+ hours sounds pretty darn impressive, and now I'm even more curious how much money (again, if any) was spent during that time.

I kinda want to know because I want to know. I've heard some things about sections of the game being impossible without spending real money so I wonder if that's true. Again, just curiosity, if you don't mind, I myself have Link Battle/Trozei so don't need the freemium version.

Just now seen the post. That's something then. But I dislike people being forced to pay just because they are not good at a game and impulsive spenders. And I don't like when people say it's "their problem".

You don't necessarily need money to beat certain levels, but you definitely need coins in several spots. That may require stockpiling coins for several days (through grinding level 37 and check-ins) before moving on. Money isn't required for this game, rather it shortens waiting periods if you want to beat a level /right now/.

It seems that a Latios Escalation battle is coming up tomorrow. I'll take this with a small grain of salt as we just finished a Escalation battle with Delibird, so I don't think that this is likely. I'm short on coins and saved lives...

I wish for a special evolve-your-pokemons event: To defeat Victini all week long!!

The only thing I dislike (but that can't be help it) is that sometimes you need to employ a lot of coins to defeat a 40-attack points Pokémon!!
