Gardevoir seems to be a complete tank... I'm grinding coins now, so I can just blitz it all in one run... I've used BB+s, I've used Gengar, I've even tried bringing Kirlia and Ralts along, but, nope. Just nothing. Does anyone know what a complexity-1 will do on this stage? I'd be rather annoyed if it just got rid of Kirlia or something, especially given the pain Conkeldurr's been giving me.
I guess I'll keep Ho-oh's skill in a spoiler as well.
Ha, yeah, except it's not too common to get 5 in a row in a non-3 Pokemon level. I actually think Power of 5 is one of the worst skills. Power of 5+ is very interesting though.
Does anyone else think that pokemon shuffle players are about to suffer event exhaustion? Too many events. Special events no longer special. I know this is a free to play game and I'm sure they want to tap that to encourage people to spend money. I think they need to slow it down a bit.
I'll admit I am getting a little exhausted of Shuffle. I am nowhere near caught up with the main stages. I still need to catch and S rank most of the added stages. I also haven't tried to catch most of the Expert Pokemon after Mewtwo. I am caught up with Special stages as of now, (Banette's mega stone was the only thing I was missing as I started playing this game around the time Rumble World came out and then took a break for a bit after that). I still haven't spent a single cent on this game and while I have to painstakingly grind on the normal meowth stage for money and wait 2 and a half hours to play 5 levels, I'd like to keep it that way. I don't want to spend my money to buy in game currency for a game that requires too much luck to be called "Pay to win". Rumble World was pay to win, Shuffle is pay and hope you get the right combos to win. Either way, so long as I can keep up with the Special stages and competitions that come around, then I'll be fine if I lag behind on main/expert stages.
I wouldn't say Rumble Word is pay to win. It feels more like a Free to Start game. You can try and enjoy it for free as much as you want, but to get the full experience you need to pay.
@Morpheel: That is true but I'm not familiar with the Free to Start idea so its more a lack of understanding on my part. Either way, I haven't spent money on Shuffle or RW. As said, shuffle is a little too luck based for me to spend money on, (I mean I beat Scatterbug 2 turns away from S rank and then went in with Move+5 and didn't even need it as I beat it with a turn or two to left).
Free to start just means that the base game is free to download, and to expand it and experience all it has to offer you need to pay, either in a single transaction that unlocks the whole game or in chunks (like buying the different balloons in RW).
Buying all 3000 gems you can buy in rumble world ends up being about the same amount of money you would spend for a normal 3ds game.
Yeah, outside of wanting to show support for the game, using money to play Shuffle is mostly... Not worth it.
I'm at an advantage because I played from the beginning, but I have never spent any money on Shuffle and I haven't missed anything in the game except one piece of candy from the first escalation battle because I didn't realize it went to 100 (wasn't in the description). I wish there were more events.
A person without a sense of humor is like a wagon without springs. It's jolted by every pebble on the road.
I'm virtually a day one player, and I'm completely up to date with everything apart from S Ranking Expert Stages, which some people like to do. I personally can't see a problem with my row of 'A's, but, whatever. Oh yeah, and Mega Candies, cause I've missed quite a few of those.
If you play with most of the respawning hearts, and prioritize events before main stages, you'll often get a week like this, where you can go back to the main stages before the week's end. (Or in my case, just take a little break)
I've been playing since day one too. I haven't missed any Event Pokémon yet and I've caught and S ranked most of the stages. Currently missing around 10 S ranks from main stages and I haven't bothered with EX stages so I have no S ranks after Heatran. I haven't been able to catch some of the newer main stage Pokémon (missing like 5?) and I just caught couple from EX stages with the help of Super Catch Power (also missing around 5 of them). The boring part is that all the stages I haven't S ranked yet are basically impossible to S rank without help of at least a couple of items and some require me to buy Complexity -1 which is so expensive but makes every stage a cakewalk. I'm tired of Meowth stage...

Do you guys check the Pokémon list out in Pokémon Shuffle 3DS? The blank Pokémons are gone in the mobile version thanks to version 1.2.0. It means that you can't be able to see Pokémon you haven't caught yet.
I'm such a moron... spent the best part of last week farming for coins so i could buy both power ups for the competition. This morning i made my first attempt but got quite a low score. Spent my last 12K for another attempt but the outcome was even worse. Only then did i notice i had forgotten to optimize my pack. 24K coins wasted, hopes dashed.
