Dusknoir is pretty easy at least my first go as I finished with 10 moves left and with only a level one Absol. Works great on that stage. My seomcd go was a miserable fail so there is a bit of luck involved as I just couldn't get any mega matches going.
Aw, man. The first time I played the Safari I got Dusclops or something like that and I lost him at 37% chance but got a bonus to move the chance to MAX. I declined figuring if it was the first one I fought it must be common. I just looked it up on serebii and it is the rarest one in the Safari, and I could have had it first go. Hopefully I will find it again relatively quickly.
So I'm not sure I believe serebii's appearance rates. I did indeed find and catch that Dusclops my very next play (even though it only has a 3.3% appearance rate), and the other one with only a 3.3% appearance rate I found and caught first try in two more hearts. Meanwhile, the only two I haven't seen yet are the two highest likelihood ones.
EDIT: @Xyphon22 From what I understand, they get the rates from data mining, so I'm fairly sure they're accurate. You just got lucky is all. I have yet to see Crobat or Dusclops and I've played about 20 times.
I've only seen Pumpkaboo, Zubat and Gourgeist for now after 20 tries. I was annoyed by Gourgeist when I played in the morning as it appeared three times in a row. It's not a good sign when you start by finding the same Pokémon over and over again.
Check out my Gaming Nonograms thread here on Nintendo Life if you are into Picross or other similar games.
I haven't seen Pumpkaboo at all, which is weird. I heard it's a coin stage, right?
EDIT: Welp, first attempt after posting this I encountered him. Beat him in two moves though, so didn't get any coins. For his disruptions does he add coins? I beat him before I could see.
Yeah, I've finally seen all 7, but Pumpkaboo and Duskull were the last 2 I found even though they have the highest rate. And yes, it is a coin stage, but there are only 4 coins in it, so you can't get much. I've caught them all except those 2 and Gourgeist.
Finally caught all the event Pokemon on 3DS and Mobile. Now I can go back to S-Ranks after grinding for enough coins on 3DS and finishing up the new main stages on Mobile.
What is the meaning of life? That's so easy, the answer is TETRIS.
Caught all 7 Safari Pokemon last night, and fairly cheap, too. Only had to use one Great Ball, and did that on Pumpkaboo because it was the last Pokemon to catch. I'm glad the more rare Pokemon had decent base catch rates. Got a bit lucky with them with sub-50% catches.
A person without a sense of humor is like a wagon without springs. It's jolted by every pebble on the road.
I got lucky and caught them all without spending a coin. I was going to use a Great Ball on the last one simply because it was the last one and I wanted to be done, but I got lucky and caught it at only 24%. I also haven't seen either of those two 3.3% ones since I caught them, so I really got lucky with them, I guess.
Fiiiiiiiinally caught Dusclops. I caught all six of the others on Monday, but I was just missing that one (which I hadn't seen, in all 108 hearts used...)... Three S Ranks to go now. I may finally be fully up to date for once. ...Hopefully.
I finally got Aerodactylite after completing stage 180, but I couldn't continue my progress again this time.
I'm gonna wait for the next update of Pokémon Shuffle Mobile again.
@Rikaria Thanks for the info on it ending at 100. Hopefully it's not too difficult past 50.
The two new expert level Pokemon I've captured are going to be useful in certain situations. Haven't tried to the new main stages yet, but I see there's a Poison type with Power of 4+. After Crowd Control, that's the best ability in the game to me. Nice to see useful Pokemon in the main stages again.
