Topic: Pokemon Shuffle

I'm still leveling and getting coins for another run at 150 since I failed it once. Should of went in fully leveled but I didn't and complexity didn't seem to do anything for me as I just wasn't getting any fall combos at all.

I got 37k and I'm not confident so I'll see if I want to make another run.

I scored around 35k, I hope that'll be enough.

I think a lot of people wait till the last day to post scores. I can see my score getting bumped out but like you I hope not. Don't want to spend another 13k plus to do another run that might be worse or not enough.

810 places and i'm out of the top 3800. It's not going to last but ill still keep an eye on it. I'm just under 38k so I'm thinking it will take at least 40 and then some by sunday night.

Newbie question: how or where do i get the Mega Stone for Banette?

@Mk_II: There was a competition held some months ago where several thousand people (depending on your region) who score highest in a Mega Banette stage would win a Bannetite (any current competitions can be found under "Special" stages if you have checked in for the day. The competition hasn't been repeated since, however, it is likely that the competition will be repeated at a later stage, but I wouldn't expect it to happen until next year.

@Mk_II: I'm too waiting for Mega Banette, as I have it on a 3DS, but need it for the 3DS I play the most with.

Finally beat Latias at 200. Wasn't as bad a I feared. Used every powerup, but either Mega Start or Move+5 was a bit redundant (finished with 7 moves left). Scored 4 Mega Startups, which I'm gonna use in Garchomp.

Did anyone beat Milotic in Stage 165? If you did, how did you do it? It's difficult to fight against Milotic.

@GreninJovan: It's been quite a while since I last played that stage but from what I remember you should catch Feebas if you haven't already and have it as one of your support Pokémon. There're already Feebas in that stage so yours will clear them out of the way. You can beat it without items when using Feebas but I'd still recommend buying an item or two, especially if you want to get S rank and catch Milotic at the same time. I think I used +5 Moves and Mega Start back when the stage was added to S rank it.

@Late: Thanks. Now I already beat Milotic, but I can't continue my progress in Pokémon Shuffle Mobile.
Well, I guess I have to wait for the next update.

Is there any difference between the mobile and 3DS versions?
I just started playing the 3DS version due to my Smartphone's encounter with a printer (the printer won) and was just curious to know the difference.

Darn! I've just missed my chance to beat Latias at level 150. I've used +5 Moves, Disturbance Delay, Attack Power * 1.5 and Mega Start but to no avail. Then i wasted some coins on a hopeless attempt with +5 and DD and now i'm stuck without enough coins and no time for farming. So sad...

@Mk_II: I had to use my only gem for 5 more moves just to beat that stage yesterday. Not happy about that but at least I didn't waste another 16,300 coins again!

I also need to make another run at this weeks competition as I fell out hard. Like I said I'm thinking for the mega speed up we will need to get at least 43k to be safe.

They really, really, really need to block people from uploading scores that use unreleased Pokemon. I see a lot of the same names each week with Ditto in their score. Repeat offenders should be banned from uploading future scores, too. That can't be difficult to put into place.

It's costing the game money. If you're a legit player and see only hacked scores at the top of the leaderboard then you're going to be less inclined to buy gems/coins to help with a run if you figure you have no shot at the top anyway. I know there aren't a lot of hacked scores up there (probably around 20), but since we only see the top 5 it seems like the game is overrun with hackers.

I wonder if the increase from 3500 to 3800 was in response to hacked scores landing on the leaderboard. I think last week a few were left on.

@AceDefective: Well, for starters, when you beat the special Pokemons in the 3DS version they also drop a jewel, instead of 5 hearts. The powerups are less expensive and the timed stages are too difficult on a touch-based display.

@Mk_II: That reminds me of the Escalation battle with Darkrai. I arrived at level 150 with just enough coins for Mega Start, +5 Moves and the one that doubles the damage (I think). No more jewels and no more money and DD was very useful because Drakrai continuously spread some smoke. You could press down on the cloud to see the Pokemon underneath, but it was a drag.

I beat it on the very last move, with a 4 combo (very difficult to achieve cos' of some metal blocks).
