There a Pokémon Rumble World thread here, and no one is posting in it?
What are you guys, Slowpokes?
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
I was such an idiot with this game. I felt bad about getting rid of any or my Pokemon that I had caught, so I kept buying the ability to hold more whenever it was available. I can now keep 1300 Pokemon even though I only ever use about 5 of them, and I have no diamonds left to get more balloons. Oh, well.
I've bought enough space to hold one of each type of Pokemon - I've captured 420 different Pokemon so far. I only keep the Pokemon with the highest HP - I'm not bothered by best moves etc. as I can learn them.
I've just got the last three balloons to buy - the most expensive ones. Linking everyday to StreetPass and the internet (and resucing Miis) will clock up the diamonds I need while I capture each and every Pokemon on the levels I can reach.
[EDIT] Actual number of unique Pokemon captured is 420, not 400.
Yeah, once you get the Move Tutor shop up there's no reason to keep Pokemon based on moves. I mainly look at power and special traits when determining what to keep and what to release, and I try not to keep more than one or two of each Pokemon.
I've collected all 719. Strangely, I need one more for rank 80, but I've exhausted all the balloons. I think I have one more King's Request, so maybe I get one from that?
Super Fang technique made every trip profitable. Save all your Super Fang 'mon. So efficient.

A quick Google search seems to indicate that that's all you get. Unless they decide to add Hoopa in the game.
It's official. I'm the luckiest son of a ***** on Earth. Someone offered me a ride to Bastion of Beginnings 3 Star (the one with Arceus in it), and I just couldn't pass up this opportunity. And boy, Arceus does not fool around. He uses Judgement most of the time, which in this game functions like Magical Leaf, it works by shooting several balls of light that home in on enemies. And then before his cooldown mode, he uses a healing move (Recover?). It it very difficult to get his HP down with those two attacks to worry about, you have to spend a lot of time evading Judgment or else you'll get hit, and if you're not attacking him enough he'll eventually get all his HP back. I struggled with him and actually accidentally K.O.ed him, but then I payed another PokeDiamond to give it another shot. The second time around, I finally found something that worked, I used a Gutsy Floette that knows Magical Leaf, which did enough damage to him because it was super effective (it was a Ground type Arceus). I came very close to getting K.O.ed (Judgment can be pretty tough to dodge), but I managed to hold out long enough to get a wobble and finally caught it.
Proof:
I also got Mew there, but it's Picky+ which I'm not quite happy with.
Bumping this thread to say that there's an update for the game that adds a new Balloon called the Lucky Balloon that is more likely to take you to areas with uncaught Pokemon (although apparently it only takes you to areas you've already unlocked, as I've cleared every Balloon I've bought and I didn't go anywhere that has new Pokemon). The Mine also now gives 40 Diamonds instead of 20.
Neat, good to hear they're updating this game. I've cleared all the stage balloons a long while back and am only 10 diamonds away from the last of the trees that require diamonds. At this stage of the game, I need money to buy up the other 3 trees and man is it a tedious grind. The only thing I really need is to do otherwise is encounter all the various forms of Vivillon, but as luck would have it, every single time I check for visitors, they're from Japan only. Hopefully they've fixed that issue too.
What is the meaning of life? That's so easy, the answer is TETRIS.
Aw, I was hoping there'd be an event Pokemon or various Vivillon forms given out as passwords. After this morning, I don't even need Diamonds anymore. Wish there was an option to trade them in for P-coins instead. I have a long long way to grind for those remaining trees.
How did you guys get so many diamonds in the first place? I've been playing since the game came out basically everyday and the only thing I've spent diamonds on are other balloons and upgrades for wobble chance. I'm still missing 3 or 4 balloons all worth over 100 diamonds.

An easier way to get Vivillon forms would be nice, but there's really no other Pokemon they need to distribute via password, unless they're going to patch in Hoopa.

They probably bought them, if you're playing the game for free, you're probably not going to have all of the balloons yet. I'm a little bit behind where you are, I was 30 Diamonds away from getting the Dark Balloon and with the 100 Diamonds I bought that and now I'm 30 Diamonds away from getting the Origin Balloon, so it's still going to take a while to unlock the remaining balloons (the Legend Balloon alone is about a month's worth of grinding to unlock).
@nf_2: Have you ever bought diamonds? I spent around $11 on them and I got every balloon and tree upgrade I could get a while ago. The only thing I would need diamonds for now is clothes and backgrounds, which I don't care about.
If you've never bought diamonds, and been playing since the beginning, then I could understand still needing them.
A person without a sense of humor is like a wagon without springs. It's jolted by every pebble on the road.

Diamonds are very hard to come by playing for free, you can only get about 5 or 6 per day not counting the ones you get from the King's Challenges.
I bought something like 70-80 diamonds when the game first came out because they had a discount but that was it. I've been getting on average probably 1 or 2 a day. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing out on something.

Even if you're playing for free, you can still get about 5 or 6 if you're willing to use your 10 Play Coins per day. You can SR for the Diamonds if the Miis don't give them to you (although keep in mind that if you SR the game, the balloons don't reset so you'll still have to wait for them to recharge), you usually get about 2 Diamonds from the 3 of them. And usually after you get 5 Diamonds that day, the Miis stop giving them to you and only give you coins (although I think this limit may have been raised in the update, I'll have to check). At 5 Diamonds a day, the grinding is a little more reasonable, but still pretty high (it takes about 2 weeks to get 100 Diamonds using this method).
