When listening to music on my 3DS I find that it isn't really loud enough for me. Is there maybe a way to fix that?

Headphones aren't any good either.

Porygon did nothing wrong.

The music itself....I don't know a good program to turn volume levels up with all songs. But yeah most of my music is perfectly fine. It's just the music files themselves.

I feel the same way too. Im going to try and buy one of those headphones with the volume silders on them, that way I can turn the volume up, while turning the volume up.

The real travesty is the L and R buttons.

I don't always give myself signatures, but when I do, you just read it.

When using headphones with the Music program everything except the music is load and clear enough. But when you start the track its very very quiet. Playing games the sound is fine also, just the music is too quiet. When not using headphones it all sounds about the same level.

It's much louder than the DSi, so I have no cause for complaint.

it differs from game to game.
with street fighter 4, i have to crank it to its maximum, and its not loud enough. headphone or not. its even worse with headphones.
with starfox 64, its ok, but i mostly play with full sound with headphones, but it sounds quite loud without headphones.

DS games like TWEWY or GTA chinatown gave me fairly good sound...
but overall...
its plainly bad for the volume loudness side. nintendo cut the budget for the speaker and sound system power. i dont need it to be a full bass subwoofer 7.1 system, but i do require it to have a minimum of sound volume.
even with my Seinnheiser headphones, it sounds low.

BUT it really do have quality in it, thats for sure. especially with headphones/earphones.

Yeah I have been using headphones, Sennheiser's actually. But when I'm on a noisy school bus I prefer to hear nothing but my music.

They're a million times better than the DSI's. Mine actually worked for more then a month. Even after a ferocious pounding in Megaman Zero.

@pocket_arsenal I like making beats while I'm listening. plus, most likely, we would skip songs on accident, while driving or walking.

It depends... Netflix is real loud and crisp even with just the speakers.

3DS Sound is loud enough, but wish it was a tad louder because some of my songs sound kinda low.

I downloaded MP3Gain and it seems to work, except for one song the quality seeems to have gone down. I have yet too try it on the bus.

On second thought it really screwed with the bass.
