Alright I feel like I am about to go crazy. Every time I do a connection test I get error code 003-1099. I have an Arris modem/router. Everything else that uses internet in the house works. And if I use wireless mode G for my Arris even my Wii works, but 3ds still will not. If I can get this fixed it will be very helpful since I use the eshop for a lot of my games because the nearest game store is an hour away. I really want Kid Icarus: Uprising.

Are you searching for an access point and entering the correct password to your router/modem? More often than not the password is right on the label of the model itself.

Even when you put the wrong password sometimes it still acts like it's the right one until you connect.

I have tried re-entering the password many times.

We cannot do that ourselves, we would have to call in Time Warner Cable. It's weird.
Edit - In any case I don't think that would help if everything, even another Nintendo console runs fine.

Well, it's always good to have your router updated, so I'd say it's worth a try. The Wii is an older device, so it may not need the newest firmware.
You should be able to update the router by going on Google and looking up the brand and model number, followed by the word "firmware", or your router may have an update option within the router itself, which can be accessed by typing in your IP address into the adress bar of your internet browser(PC). You shouldn't have to call Time Warner, but if you do, I would suggest doing that.
