I picked up Ninja Battle Heroes in the Eshop today although so far the game has been easy the play controls, graphics and Music are all top notch. If you liked Ninja Gaiden you will love this game! It is a Gunman Clive type sleeper hit at a cheap price 2.99
Still playing 3DS but will have Switch soon for multiplayer with friends. I miss you guys! Adam, Joni, Gavin and the rest of the Blue Rogues from the Phantasy Star Zero Days.
I want to get it but I'm going to wait for it hit the price drop section then pick it up.
Happy Gaming! (^_^)
I'm really enjoying it. The game looks so neat. I came across the first boss and he raked me across the coals. I realized you need to grind the previous levels and level up before you try bosses which is also neat to me. Your character levels up like an RPG. You earn different spells and abilities as you level. I don't mind doing the previous levels either. There are also achievements in the game which is becoming a normal thing in these types of games. If you liked Gunman Clive you will really like this. My guess on a sale this will go to 2.49 or maybe 1.99. So far well worth the 2.99. Pretty high quality for a low, low price.

I´d like to know how long are the levels? how many levels does it have? Idon´t know if they're going to drop its price because Smash Cat Heroes was released months ago and hasn´t had a discount
Oh my god, thanks for the uptake! I never knew this came out, but I just saw the trailer, and it looks like a decent Shinobi clone with cute animal characters! I couldn't ask for more! Plus, it's short and only costs $3? Of course I'm picking that up!
EDIT: I like this game lots. Not only does it have a lot of personality, the gameplay is actually quite deep. Like, I replayed the first 4 levels a bunch of times, annd I'm still finding new skills and ways to tackle a level. The challenges are neat, too. A nice way to avoid having to do multiple difficulties, too.
I really hope for the Devs this game catches fire like Gunman Clive did. To be honest there is more to it than Gunman Clive. Not that Gunman Clive is a bad game, cause its not bad at all. This game just has more in depth as @CanisWolfred has mentioned. Level design is also good and its just a pretty game to look at. This is high quality at a very good price and they should sell at least 50,000 copies its too good to pass up.

Literally my only complaint is/was the animations of the enemies - it looks a bit stiff and unnatural when I was watching the video. I think I got used to it, though, since I didn't notice it in-game despite trying to look out for the animations. Could also be part of the cute charm, too.
I'm going to jump out there and stamp an 8 rating on this beast! Hee hee that would make it a 4 star game in the Eshop but we all know how flawed the Eshops star system is. I will bet it will be a 5 star game in the Eshop because of the flaw. Ninja Battle Heroes is just fun and neat. It plays silky smooth and has some darn cute enemies and pretty backgrounds to look at.

Fun fact...I looked up Tom Creates, and they seem to make a lot of games, though most of them don't seem very good. This is definitely one of their better ones, though. I'm curious to see who's on the credits, because I'd like to see who was involved with this game...mostly because I'm fairly sure they did the localization themselves, yet the english seems spot-on.
I´ve read this game is like Ninja Gaiden, my question is: is this game as difficult as Ninja Gaiden ?
I wouldn't really compare it to Ninja Gaiden. It's not really that hard at all..or really plays at all like it. Like, literally the only things they have in common are the fact that you're a sword-weilding Ninja, and enemies respawn, but that's it. The level design is nowhere near as devious, though the no-hit challenges can be difficult. You have far more ways to tackle There's no wall jumping, instead you have double jumps, slides, smoke evasions, and dashes. You have a simple sword combo and you can throw ninja stars, which is most useful when fighting enemies in the backround. Which you do a lot.
I haven't even had a chance to try all of them yet, but it's mostly the face buttons and occasionally the...L Button? One of the shoulder button is guard. I never use it. Ever.

No not near as difficult. However it does have this really neat accomplishment system which makes you go through each run of a stage differently. The controls are just silky smooth.

This game is boss. Haven't played anything else on my 3DS since it was released. If Tom Create stays on this animal ninja kick, they've got me locked as a customer.

Sadly, it seems Tom Create didn't really continue much with the idea, since from what I can tell from their website, this game was released in 2011 in Japan...and they've release 3 or 4 games over there since then, none of which seem that good...
I got this game and I like it a lot. Need to sink more time during this weekend, but I am replaying each stage to get the time achievement. I love how you get a benefit for each of those you complete.
The game is very polished and that price is a steal. I would have paid $5-$10 for this one with ease.
I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.
