even an uninspired mario game has more inspiration in it than most games do. say what you will, but you know the game is going to be damn fun no matter what. the racoon suit having its flight restored alone is worth it. if anything i would rather have seen a super mario world styled game, but in the end any 2D mario game is going to be pretty much the same- jump on this turtle. go down this pipe. reach the goal.

it is kind of lame that they barely touched up the backgrounds, though. they look like they're transplanted from the last few games. maybe they'll replace them later in development... _{probably not.}

So we have it confirmed that Animal Crossing will come out in the fall in Japan. Does anybody know of any confirmed dates for North America and Europe?

How does that make sense? Aside from ports, only one console zelda game and two handhelds have been released since Twilight Princess. How is that too frequent?

I'm pretty sure Animal Crossing will come out side by side Japan's release.

Ports count though. Which makes it frequent.

I don't see how that's a bad thing though as long as the games are still high quality, fun and feel different. We'll see how NSMB.2 goes, but as long as it feels unique when I'm playing it I won't mind the frequency of the releases. (If you can call a period of 6 years frequent that is.)

Man this is soooo exciting! A new New SUper Mario Bros! A Kirby Compilation! Plus folders for the 3DS! I sure hope that updat comes with Find Mii 3 and more puzzles!!!!!! Great announcement!

Anyways yeah...Zelda isn't too frequent. DS only had 2 Zeldas as far as I can remember...3DS only has one at the moment...we just got a new one not too long ago on the Wii.

Day one buy for NSMB 2. Wonder which games will be on the Kirby compilation. Hoping for Dream Land 1-3, Adventure, Super Star, Crystal Shards and maybe one of the spin off gameboy or super nintendo games like Pinball Land or Block Ball. I hope Nintendo also includes an extra of sorts like the Mario 25th Anniversary All Stars Compilation with the art book and music disc. Nice knowing that now I can sort my games into folders and save menu space.

If Kirby Compilation has Kirby Air Ride...

I love the fact that we are getting so many Marios and Links and all great games! Bring more I say! Throw in some Metroids, Castlevanias, Megamans, Advance Wars and Others and I'll be extremely happy!
