What if the gold power-up is like Midas Touch where anything Mario touches turns to gold?

I dunno, in the screenshot there where gold enemies in front of him...

The Wario theory sounds good to me. Who knows? Maybe we'll actually be right.
Wario in another Mario platformer, let alone a "New" one, would certainly be new.

Me too!
But if i hear NSMB's main overworld theme in the game i'm going to do a complete turnaround and start sulking again.lol And hopefully Nintendo ditched that semi-lame Propeller suite as well....I'm also hoping that the frog suite will make a glorious comback.

Something tells me that's gonna happen...xD (the theme I mean, lol)

I don't see the Koopa Kids being in this one either. That would make it too much like the Wii game. Let's just stick with the Wario idea so I can sleep at night

@WaveBoy, I feel the same way about the main theme from both games! It's actually not that bad of a theme, pretty catchy if you asked me. I just want them to use something new, which would help distinguish this game from the other "New" games.

I don't know who else Nintendo would use for baddies. Unless they use SMB2's roster but that would be out of their league.
