We've got a gameplay video now. Please note that it's strictly beta and quite unedited - lots of things are changing every hour, so bear with us. Quite possibly this gameplay video contains quite a bit of stress and "enemy action" - probably a lot more than the game will contain in its final form - and the video quality is pretty rough. Obviously the game looks a lot sharper. But it's a start.

By the way, we just uploaded a "secret" video of beta gameplay (a very small part of the gameplay). Sorry for the rough quality, but it goes something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmILgleMlYI
I knew steam would be on 3ds eventually. D:

Hi @imageform, I haven't seen anything about beta-testing in your web or in facebook and I was interested. Where do I look or what are the terms?
Thanks and best of luck.
@DarkCoolEdge: we're holding off a bit, since it turned out that we could get quite a few willing beta testers from around Gothenburg. we'll tell if we want help with beta testing soon. Thanks!

Ok . Anyway, if you need/want help for a spanish translation (read through or whatever) I'd be happy to give a hand.
Things are heating up: Rusty, Dorothy and the rest are getting ready to hit the eShop on August 8 in the US, Europe and Australia. Price point: 8.99 USD, 8.99 EUR, 11.99 AUD. Japan will have to wait a few more weeks!
HOLY CRAP! August 8th?! Awwwwwesooooome! Would love to see a bit more gameplay footage before then if possible! (Though I think I'm already sold on wanting to get this game at launch)
They said the mining action is very addictive (reminiscent of classics like Dig-Dug & Mr. Driller), and adds an extra layer of longevity by adding player upgrades (which are added frequently enough to make you feel like you're constantly moving forward). They said the platforming segments add even more variety, although the platforming itself is a bit too "floaty", being the game's only noticeable gameplay flaw. They said the art style is fantastic, and the 3D is used subtly to great effect. They said that while the game doesn't need a deep story (like most platformers), it felt like a missed opportunity, as the steam punk setting is calling out for one (they hope a story is crafted for a sequel, maybe as an RPG or Adventure game, and mentioned that as the first game was a tower defense title, genre changes aren't uncommon for the fledgling series). They also said that while the music isn't fantastic (and loops on a regular basis), it's still very nice.
