@WaveBoy Oh, I have the XL right now. It definitely has the best stylus of all the 3DS systems, unless the 2DS stylus is any longer. I think it might be the same though.
The wait is killing me. My New 3DS is literally a 7 minute drive away from me and it has to stay there until Monday. It arrived in my town last night. That's why I tried so hard to have UPS upgrade the shipping service so I could get Saturday delivery. But, to no avail.
Where did you find all of the information about where it is and when you'll get it? Did you call them? All I know is that it hasn't shipped yet.

When it ships, they will give you a tracking number. That'll let you see where it's at, and it'll (usually) tell you the expected delivery date.

Well UPS is good at giving me scares. I checked the status this morning of my Monster Hunter system and it still hadn't moved. Check back again then my arrival time said can't update at this time so I was hoping it Maybe moved to early today. With it being somewhat of a holiday here I also thought it slipped till tomorrow as well. Just checked again and it updated back to 2:30 to 6:30 and am relieved. Its now on its way!

Oh wow, I might not get it for a long time, then. I hope it ships soon.
I have to wait until march 6th for mine to get sent out, what a load of smurf boogers. I ordered mine when there were 3 left in stock off amazon just a few days ago, yet I still have to wait until they get their new shipment in me guesses
But I ordered mine a month a ago when everyone else preordered the MM edition. I think I'll call them in the afternoon if they haven't shipped it by then. At this rate, it might not get here till next week!
I'm enjoying my new 3ds but what on earth is thinking behind stopping the system from doing any more transfers for 7 days??? My son wanted to put his data from his (broken) 3ds onto my 2ds (which had had all its data transferred onto my new 3ds.) But no! the powers that be forbade it. Why Nintendo, why?
It's going to be here in just a couple hours! ...Hopefully.

Mine just shipped today. I should have it by thursday...meanwhile the actual game is still in gamestop's shipping depot...even though they took my money.

FINALLY!! The Monster Hunter New 3ds looks and feels so good! Plus like @TeeJay said, it's so much quieter when opening and closing. So excited to jump into this new system!!

I want to see about getting a New 3DS if there will be any luck that I can get my old 3DS back after it was lost/stolen then no New 3DS XL for me until April/May.
I got my New 3DS! But I seriously need to complain to UPS. Twice in a row, they delivered a package to the wrong place. The street number for each building in the complex is clearly marked, so why do they keep doing this?
Thank goodness I noticed the tracking said it was delivered only a few minutes after they came, so I went to the usual spot and there it was sitting outside the door. At the wrong place. Again.

I agree, the 3D is very much improved. I never had much of a problem with the old 3D but NOW I can set my 3DS down and hold it any which way without breaking the 3D effect.
Yep. Since I got my New 3DS I have been playing exclusively with the 3D on. It is quite amazing.

The colors do seem to pop a lot more, but maybe that's because this is an XL, and my other one was an original.
Also, it's a lot louder opening and closing compared to the original 3DS. Was the original XL worse?
The original XL was horrible, you could be 2 rooms away and here someone open it up. Compared to that this one's quite. Mine barely make any noise at all.
@Waveboy I do think the brightness is about the same but I'm going to have to agree with those others that the improvement in visuals give it an appearance that it's brighter. I'm playing with the lights off and it's a bit too much for sure. Has me squinting. Plus the colors seem a bit warmer as the old XL's seemed way colder but in this case it seems to help make it appear slightly brighter. I do think the colors pop more then the last system. Combine that with the nice 3d and you have a seemless picture.
