...So, after using up almost all my potions, nullberries and all that crap...I managed to take down Snowbaron...

I also found out why these first Deviants are so nightmarish, they're High Rank...WTF Capcom? xD

As for videos, I'm just gonna go ahead and finish up 3* hub quests and get ready to record the next urgent. I'm ready to move on to High Rank anyways.

I'm wanting to solo most of the quests though. Maybe once some of those event quests come out where the monsters have extra health or something.. (I'm pretty sure those exists, lol)

@Tsurii That's my fault. I didn't even think about it, but I should have made the room HR 4+ (not that I have anything against anyone in Low Rank, but in a room of three HR 40-80+ guys, we're probably going to be doing High Rank quests, and you have to be at least HR 4+ in order to be able to sign up for the quests), when I made the hub.

I smell an interesting drama story.

@Meowpheel Not really that interesting, but someone from here joined a room that me, OutCold, and Tsurii, was in, and they were only HR 3. And since you have to be High Rank in order to join High Rank quests, I knew that they wouldn't be able to join any of our quests.

So I asked how far away they were from HR 4, and they said they just got to HR 3. So I offered to help get them to HR 4, and we started off with a Key, then we did another quest that wasn't a Key, but I didn't catch that until after we finished. Then when they posted another that wasn't a Key, I asked if that they were wanting to do their Keys? And they said they didn't want to blow through their HR ranks, and asked if we wanted them to leave, and I said I was just asking (because I've helped numerous people get Keys before, and many times they'll post non-Keys on accident).

Then after that quest, I clarified that the reason I wanted to help them get to HR 4, was that after that they'd be able to go on High Rank quests, and then all 4 of us could take turns picking quests. They never responded, and just posted another quest. We helped with that quest as well, then we called it a day.

Oh. Aw I wanted drama- erm I mean, I'm glad it wasn't all that bad then (still a bit odd though).

Anyway, I'll be hunting lr daimyo hermitaurs to create a lance armor set, the room will be open to randoms, if anyone wants to join the Id is...

On the subject of my shiny new lance set, it's amazing how the Adept style does wonders for the Hunting Horn but totally destroys the Lance. Wow.

That one will use the Guild style from now on.

What's a good starting Low Rank set? Currently using the Sword & Shield and I don't feel like making the Jaggi set since I already did that plenty of times at the start of every MH game lol.

Since I use the hunting horn I have been using the bone armor set, it was extremely easy to get and with the right abilities by default.

For the sword and shield, I'd guess the jaggi or tetsu (not exactly starter but still).

You could try the Maccao set.

Oh, I always want drama. Drama and blood .

@Tsurii Is the slash combo the ground-based hacking attack with the axe, or did you mean something with the axe midair? I only really use sword mode for aerial, because the axe seems to just do a single, less powerful attack.
