@Tsurii I think the Daora skin in Arctic Ridge also gives them. But honestly Volcano or Hollow (particularly their hidden areas) mining is still the main way to get shards of any kind, rust or ancient.

There's a consistent blue node in particular at the Volcano, in the area where you can get powderstones and usually has two Uroktors, that seems to have a higher chance of giving them.

@Tsurii I knew that only because it's the same as in Freedom Unite (the daora skin in the mountain) . It's nice that they kept the special fixed gathering/mining nodes alongside the new kind.

@Tsurii Yeah, nobody had joined my room, and it was getting closer to when I needed to eat; so I just decided to close the hub until I had finished.

I'm feeling much better about my Light Bowgun skills after I managed to do high rank Seregios solo with it, and I reached HR7. It was especially challenging since there was an intruder Deviljho that appeared to be following me and Seregious everywhere, and I used used up a lot of Dung Bombs.

I see multiplayer hunting is happening. I was going to do something and then cook, so I may be up for joining if anyone is still around when I'm back.
