Topic: Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Discussion

I still wished the missing monsters were put in here, though...like...Teostra is in, but Lunastra nowhere to be found. Same goes for Shogun/Shen or Blangonga.

What makes even less sense, is that Lunastra is STILL not in the next game. lol

I was kinda hoping Nintendo would at least help with localizing the Wii U version...but I guess not...

If the Frontier series was ever available in the west, it would be cool having a bunch of players from NL hunt this monster. Though sadly that dream may never happen lol.

I gave up on Frontier, I would rather have Stories instead. owo

I'd gladly take Frontier being on Steam if that's the only easy way to get the MMO to the west, though I'd personally prefer to play it on something like the PS3 or Wii U if we ever do get it some day. At the moment I'm fine with just getting a western announcement for Monster Hunter Cross since it looks more fun than 4U and that game was already a bunch of fun to play daily.

And now I somehow managed to finish the Grim Quartet quest alone...lol

@Megumi: His stomach is a weak point alright but the head is on another weak level altogether.

To the discussion I missed, I don't think how I will manage if Frontier is launched overseas. Goodbye routine. Unless the game sucks compared to the main series haha. Although I would have to use an Xbox Controller if it only comes out on PC overseas, and I hate its D-pad >.<

Well, not for the camera. I already have my trusty CPP so I don't mind my 3DS either.

The inventory management! I love Nintendo's D-Pads the most so yea...

@DarthNocturnal: Heh? What do you mean? How do you manage your inventory without the D-pad? The control pad does act as an camera but it is more favourable to use the touchscreen D-pad when you don't have a CPP.

I don't think Monster Hunter has ever 'needed' analog triggers. The attacks are pretty much to attack or not to attack and binded to the facebuttons. The shoulder buttons don't have anything that needs analog.

Yea Grim Quartet took me a lot of time to finish. 4 monsters -_-

I gave up on Advanced: Monster Hunter after I saw I have to kill the Brachy along with another monster without the gate switch. That I will leave for some other time...

Yeah, the main reason Quartet took me forever is because I didn't realize I could finally use that stupid switch until after the first half of the quest. xD

Anyways yeah, pretty much done with my Fatalis Glaive...so later I'm probably going to go finish Dala's. (meaning I have to deal with Shah)

@DarthNocturnal: I might jump in if your still playing in a while. Got a couple things to do, then I have like 2 HR7 quests I want to do when I get on so I can finish up all the Caravan awards.

Yeah I never play with randoms, always end up with trolls and leeches...or they come in asking for help on an urgent.

Yeah, I'm Hr7 with the urgent quest just unlocked. I'm really not too bothered about someone's weapon being OP or anything certainly not if it was just the 2 of us, maybe with 4 it's too much
