A game with months worth of content is lacking content to you??

He's comparing it to other games in the franchise.

What BellGoRiiing said. MHT compared to the other MH games on the market, lacks content and has no replay value of any sorts. Once you have the best armors and weapons there's nothing to go back and revisit again. Whereas the other MH games are vast with a wider range of monsters and items which MHT unfortunately lacked in, the other MH games have a much better online experience too.

Even though MHT didn't have to deal with FCs, it was still pretty basic, PMs, party chat and normal chat. Also, let's not forget, you need a keyboard to even enjoy the game fully otherwise your just spending 10 minutes to send one message.

MHT is still an amazing game, but by Wii standards, compared to the Playstation's standards it's quite lacking.

I can't believe you people can be so annoying. Good grief, there's no point in me even replying since you ALL take what I say out of context and twist it so you can hurl more fireballs at me, jesus.

Then don't :3

Edit: Also, I agree with you. MHT's online mode was ancient, you can't even PM while people are in quests? wtf
and the whole game was lacking in content, but that's because it was like a clean slate for Capcom. they didn't want it to have every single monster from MH1/2 like the past games did

]If your talking about not being able to PM people who are not with you in the quest, than I totally and completely agree. I hated that too...sooo much...

Perhaps a multiplatform release. it'll make EVERYONE happy and, at the same time, make capcom even more $$$

I may be wrong, but I think they said they were gonna try and make future titles multiplatform. I sure hope so.

haha multiplatform Vita/3DS would suxorz. maybe PS3/WiiU, but not the portables.

If a MH was created ground-up for the 3DS and its capabilities than it would look really watered down and crappy on the Vita, and vice-versa with the Vita grafix looking awesome and porting to 3DS would be crap

I'm thinking more of a noob-friendly bland MH like MHT for the 3DS, and an all-out 100 monster amazing MH for the Vita.
...or they could just release that felyne monhan poka poka village game for 3DS and leave the real MH to a system that can handle it and has a past with sony portables

...All the Vita is getting is 3rd HD, and the original 3rd the 3DS can handle easily. And no, Poka Poka crap...I want a real Portable game for the 3DS. >_>

All the Vita is getting is MHP3rd HD? Do you have sauce with those fries?

Not sure what you mean by that as the latest PSP MH in america has over 80 monsters... The Vita with it's awesome dual analogs will be sure to follow up with the portable version of the PS3's MH4.

The 3DS might be able to handle a port of the PSP game with its power, but I"m not too sure about the controls. If they completely revamp the controls into some stupid touch-screen crap, it wouldn't be a mere port any more.

You're wrong. I can say this because I've actually played the game.

Not sure how you can call it crap.

I'm assuming, shaddap. xD (honestly though, I would prefer the actually MH games)
Anyways I'm tired now and got distracted by other stuff, gonna go to bed.

This, multiplatform would look horrible for the portables. Maybe PS3 and Wii U, but I would like to see it done on the 360 too, that could either be really good or absolute crap... but I think they should build a brand new MH for each system taking into account it's different strengths.

I could easily see SpotPass being used to get new items, armor and maybe even monsters for the 3DS. The Vita would most likely have a more substantial library, if you will, of monsters, weapons and armors straight out of the box. A Wii U release could work out with the new touch screen controller to select your items and go through the menu's wihout having to bring it up on to the big screen. While the PS3... I have no idea what they could with it, personally. I can't even remember if MH has already gone on to the PS3? Because I sure haven't seen one before. o_O

Also, let's not forget... the guys over in Japan had to pay for the online service for MHT. OUCH! That would suck. D:

@Aviator That old message?! Hah, we never even got back on and I still doubt we'll ever get back together, I haven't been on since 3 months ago when I got my 3DS.

Also, let's not forget... only a handful play MH3 from Nintendo Life in the European area. Most of them broke up and did other things before April 2011, at that time MH3 would've been a year old, therefore by that logic it would've only lasted a few MONTHS. Me and Rich tried to keep it going, but even then that didn't work and we all disbanded. I tried again in July to see if anyone would want to play, that never happened, so I just left it.

It still disproves your point that it was "over in a matter of months".

@ Demon - Why do you go back and edit your post to death after someone replies to them? You are the biggest flip-flopping back-peddler I've ever seen on the forums. You compare MH to CoD then retract. You say the game is too short and then when called out on it switch your stance or come up with excuses. It's just sad man.

You can't get upset with everyone disagreeing with you when you can't even agree with yourself.

Only problem is it lacked content and it was over in a matter of months, depending on how quickly you could get through it.

Read that part? I don't think so. The content could only last for so long, I took a break inbetween November-January to play GoldenEye and go to College. If I didn't take that break from MH3 I would probably of been done way before April with every set and weapon, but I finished this game in April (give or take a few days) with every weapon and armor in the book. It's got a matter of months, up to a year atleast of content. Once you've gone through all that, there is NOTHING to go back and revisit again. MH3 was a very weak MH game anyway.

@JayArr Because no one likes my viewpoint doesn't mean I should get upset over it, I believe it what I want to believe. Also I took out the MH to CoD comparison because I knew it was going to offend some people, it was a laps in judgement on my part I posted my reply with that in there.
