I've been looking into getting one of these two games for my 3DS.
I haven't really played much of either serious what so ever before this, but I've played the demo's for a short time on my 3DS. Can't decide which one I'd want more. Not real good at either one yet but I could learn. Not real used to the gun not doing much damage kind of game for one.
Usually, the kind of games I play are just about any of the first party Nintendo titles. Mario and Zelda are two big ones (playing Kid Icarus Uprising right now).
Any one have a suggestion which of these two games I should get??

@Joshers744 Well, it all depends on which you would rather have, a survival horror/action game or a stealth action game. Even in Metal Gear you can go, I think im going to kill everyone, when your supposed "to be on a stealth mission" I found metal gear to be more enjoyable, but that was because i would snipe the ememys radio's and then resume my stealth mission

Hm. Interesting.
I am almost leaning towards Metal Gear. Always been interested in that series since I don't know much about it at all. Plus, when they put Snake in Smash Bros, that kind of made it catch my interest a little more. The mystery-like side of Resident Evil, and puzzle solving seems interesting even still though...

Any other opinions on this??

Still getting a few mixed responses...hmm. I don't think I'll bring Silent Hill into this equation . Too much to choose from already!

As a series Metal Gear Solid is 100x better than Resident Evil, but that's just my opinion.
Now choosing between the two 3ds games is tough. They're both great. MGS3 has loooong cutscenes, and I can't imagine holding the system for so long. Plus I imagine that would be inconvenient on the go. Some cutscenes last past 30 minutes. You also get a much better deal by buying the HD collection instead.
Resident Evil: Revelations, however, was made specifically for the 3DS. It doesn't have as long cut scenes. The game is trying to be scary though, so take that into consideration. It also has online play.
I'd honestly lean more towards Revelations even thou I think MGS3 is better.
