I agree, I love the babies but I was not too keen on Funky Kong. Anyway, I hope Baby Mario, Luigi, Peach and Daisy are playable characters in Mario Kart 7.

Hammer Bro should be in. Long overdue. What about Baby Wario? I like Daisy, but B. Daisy should have not replaced Baby Dk or Wario.
Oh.. And I find Goomba to be more... attractive(?) than Birdo.. I don't think it has anything to do with looks.
Anyhow, Paper Mario characters such as Goombario would be sweet (I always liked him). That tough nameless Baby Yoshi (that you get to name) would also be a great addition. How about Dr. Mario and Wario Man?
I just received this keychain of a goomba. It's huge and freaking awesome. Please put him behind a wheel. He will kick ass (especially Mario's). Time for some revenge.

All I know is I want to fix the balance in the game. MK Wii was painful much of the time because you get raped by items all the time. It's all the little things... The fact that you lose a item when you get hit. That annoying flying blue spiney. Bring back the original blue spiney. Bring back the defensive aspects of the game. MK64 was as much about defense as it was about offense.
Although I never really played it other than on one or two occasions I agree that Mario Kart 64 was of of the best MK experiences along with MK: Double Dash.

I miss the old blue spiny shell. It made a good shield.

The music and the tracks resemble more of Mario Kart Wii than any other. I also saw coins have returned but I'm not sure if they help you speed up or not. The glider and submarine gimmicks are cool while they last. It never appeared to me that they last for more than several seconds at a time but while watching one of the videos it appeared that New Super Mario Bros. themed levels are present. They still effect the gameplay though.

I'm pretty sure the coins will help you speed up... Don't know why else they'd be there... And I agree, it's very impressive and very attractive.
I'm with everyone who wants certain characters in MK7 but I don't want a huge roster like in MKW. More on the lines of DD where there were what? 16 to choose from? Make it 20 characters plus Mii's. No 32

I actually don't mind having a large roster to choose from, for two main reasons: #1: It gives me more to unlock in the game #2: It means as far as online play in concerned, there will be less chance that everyone will just be picking the same characters as each other.
