It actually IS the Wii online play. At least, the looks of it.

To me this game is pretty awesome shall i dare say EPIC

...Not sure what you're saying there...but yeah Mario Kart 7's online mode is supposed to look similar to the Wii's version.

This game is definitly my most hyped game of 2011. By far.

im curious as to what the coins in maps will be used for. high score, spare parts, or what?

The coins on the tracks might be for "speed boosting", basically, the more coins you have the faster you are. That's if it's going to follow SMK and what? Mario Kart Super Circuit GBA?

Retro must have a special Metroid track in the game. They're involved and it is Metroid's 25th Anniversary. One more month to finally find out

My sister just played it on the First Look game show in The Netherlands and she told me it was great. So I can't wait till it's released.

In Utrecht. She also played, and loved, Super Mario 3D Land and Resident Evil: Revelations. She didn't like Kid Icarus that much. Looked great but the controls took a lot of time to get used too.

Do you think this game will have weight classifications or size classifications? Metal Mario will probably be medium if it is size classification, but will probably be heavy if it is weight classification.
Size = Mario Kart Wii
Weight = all the other games

Well, Mario is not that much shorter than Wario, and Toad is not much shorter than Bowser Jr. (the latter is medium). Rosalina too. Waluigi used to be medium if I'm not mistaken but was Large in Wii. I guess MKWii used a combination.

We'll have to wait and see.

I am so putting Bowser in a tiny Kart when this game comes out, lol.

Even more than Super Mario 3D Land?

Not atm, because SM3DL is closer to release than MK7, but I believe when all is said and done, MK7 will have had more hype than SM3DL.

I just saw the Preview Video on the 3DS shop and all I have to say WOW! The music let me just say: Is phenomenal. Very charming. The graphics are definitely Double Dash worthy, possibly even better. Nothing about the characters wowed me _yet.

As for the tracks... damn. The Hulu island track looks good but probably going to be my least favorite of them all. I think I saw a Bowser stadium track (the second track shown in the video), but I might be crazy. But what made me go WOAH was when Mario just fell into the water on purpose to switch over to the submarine peripheral. I'm still not used to that. I'm going to go back to a previous Mario Kart game and forget its exclusive to 7, and get very... frustrated. Another note I'd like to point out is FIRE POWER.
