Topic: Mario kart 7 Discussion

What is Baby Daisy even from?? Don't get me wrong, I like Baby Mario and Baby Luigi (I find sick enjoyment out of hearing them cry after losing in Double Dash =P). But I mean come on. Daisy is in, what, 1 main series mario game? I really don't even know which one it is. I like Daisy more than Peach (Brunettes > Blondes imo =P) but there is no need for a Baby Daisy!

I noticed in the video that the player didn't get hit by either a lightning bolt nor a blue shell in any of the races. Does that mean that the items are more balanced now and that the races aren't a frenzy of items flying everywhere?

I almost forgot. Mii integration!! I really hope they include this, as I have yet to see any good use of my Miis on my system.

@Sneaker13, I would love Goomba as a playable character! And it's not even a stretch considering they now have Koopa Troopa.

I do want Daisy there, but just less annoying. I want Professor E. Gadd as a character too. ^_ He's super neat.

Yeah, if we can't play as Miis in this game, I'd have much less fun online.

I was so excited to learn Shy Guy was in Mario Kart DS only to find that he was only playable if you didn't own the game. I would play against my friends and ask to play the demo version even though I owned it because I wanted to be Shy Guy (the bestest Mario character ever).

I have to say that the trailers so far look fairly bland... I'm still waiting for the big "hook" to draw me in.

Double Dash is still probably my favorite, with the insanely fun multiplayer and some of the greatest level designs to date (Wario Colosseum!). MKWii was great fun for the bikes, motion controls (yep, I have that gold wheel by my name) and new ideas like tricks.

This new one has... flying and underwater? That's not enough to convince me just yet.

Does anyone have a guess at what the other add-ons might be?

Looking at the E3 footage it seems like we'll be getting quite a lot of other parts other than the 'Hang-glider'. What would you like to see?

I'm kind of stuck. I don't know what else they could put on the carts. I have bad imagination when it comes to this it seems.

Here's an idea I just thought up that I think is great. How about we get an option to let the game randomly insert some Miis encountered through Streetpass as opponents in our races? You know, like how it randomly generates your opponents in regular races.

Well, if goomba could swing a bat with no arms, i guess he could drive a kart as well.

And other Miis from your Mii Maker as well! I would love starting a Grand Prix only to find out that the best computer controlled racer is my girlfriend's Mii or any other famous person I got from QR Codes lol

Exactly. Goomba needs more games to shine in and Mario Kart 7 is the perfect game for it.
