Topic: Mario kart 7 Discussion

I found the 150cc pretty easy to be honest... it's just the item use that makes it "challenging". I haven't finished the other engine classes yet, but I'll be doing them soon.

Really good game though, it's just the items that can really make you annoyed with this game.

Also, how many characters are there in total? I currently have 16, or is that it?

I'm only annoyed with the roster everything else is cool to me but I haven't fully experienced the game yet so not sure yet.

when u play people they are added 2 your mii plaza ... its just a shame u cant use them in those streetpass games

That's annoying. Would've given much more of an incentive to play with random people.

Nintendo needs realize that in America not everyone has a 3DS, making the StreetPass games take a ludicrous amount of time to complete (unless you use Play Coins, but that kind of takes the fun out of Find Mii and is cumbersome for both games).

@zezzy ? I know it works in Japan. That's why I said in America. They should let you register random MK racers in the StreetPass Mii Plaza games, like pix said.

Yep, 16. Lakitu is the last one. Just out of interest, what character are you guys using? I'm currently using Shy Guy but every so often I'll use Wiggler.

Also, does anyone know what the maximum number of coins to collect is before you stop getting extra car parts? The last time I had collected 1,200 coins: Is that the last one? Seems like an odd space to stop, maybe the gap is just huge to the next one. If anyone could tell me I'd be really grateful!

I really llike this game, most of the time. I really hate the item use. It never feels as fair and as good as it was in Double Dash. It happened a couple of times that I was having an easy race but then get a red shell, lightning, blue shell and then end up finsihing in fourth spot.

Even worse is that even when your in the air, you can still get hit by a red shell, blue shell and lightning. And then you are completely screwed because you fall out of the sky. I have never seen such a stupid thing in a Mario Kart game. No, Double Dash is still the King of the Mario Kart games for me.

@NintyFan Not in the least; I don't know why everyone is complaining about the frequency of blue shells and lightnings when MKW has like 10x the amount of those items. The most lightnings I've seen in one race are 2 and the most blue shells I've seen are 3, and even those amounts are fairly uncommon; usually there is 1 lightning and 1-2 blue shells per race.

Okay, I have a problem. I've beaten at least one of each cup and I still haven't unlocked Miis. Anybody else have this problem?

For the record, I have gold in all 150cc cups, as well as gold in most of the 50cc cups and 100cc Lightning Cup.

I beat all the 150cc cups first and nothing happened.
But then I did them all on 50cc and I unlocked the Mii for it.
So try beating them all on 50cc.

I'm getting the game in an hour (yay) and I'll let you know if I have that problem. Oh by the way check out NinBuzz video on youtube its how to unlock everything in MK7.

Does anyone know of any good combinations of vehicle parts?
I've been using the Tiny Tug, the Wooden wheels and Peach's Parasol.
I prefer good handling so, I can drift fairly quickly. :3

It has nothing do with completion. You need, if I am not mistaken, 500 gold coins to unlock of mii character.

As soon as I completed all of the 50cc cups, I got my Mii... I had it long before I collected 500 coins. :3
