Its an old topic, i know
My girlfriend started 3D Land a couple of days ago and we talked about the 100% completion requirements.
As many of you know, to get a shiny 5 star save file, you may not die more than 5 times on a single level on any given time, as it triggers the super tanookie helper block to appear, making it impossible for you to obtain the sparkling stars.
Now, 3D World also features said save file stars and also has them sparkle if you never use the helper blocks. BUT according to the mario wiki, you can afterwards clear that same level without the use of the helper block, which will restore the sparkling star status.
But the explaination of the wiki is not limited to 3D world. Did anyone ever try to replay every level in which a helper block appeared without meeting the conditions for ot to even appear (not dieing 5+ times) ? Since i dont have my game at hand i cant try that.
It would interest me if replaying these stages again would make a 5 star file into a sparkling 5 star file or if the sheer appearance of the block really prevents that.

First off, I think in 3D land you only have to clear the level even if the guide appears not when you lose more than five times. That's when the guide shows up. And secondly, just leave it because in my opinion, its not worth a thing. Sure its shiny but what's the point in that? Its like getting achievements in a game only to get nothing out of it.........

After so long...I'm back. Don't ask why

The reason is: Ive played that game over and over, not 100% but i finished it I now just want a nice, 100% save file and be done with it for a while
But i dont want to spend so much time, replaying basicly every level on a save file, that cant be completed at 100% anymore instead of just starting over from srcatch, aiming for a quick rush through the game, getting through the first batch of levels without triggering the guide and THEN focus on getting all the goodies. But sadly, i might have to do it anyways, because everyone pretty much has their own story about how that system works.
